Chapter 10 Sister

Destiny's Dominion · 第十章 姐姐

"Sue me? Of course, if you, Andre, can afford the lawyer's fees, I myself would be willing to respond to the lawsuit."

Jennifer clearly dismissed Li Mochen's threat: "You can even call the police now, have them come over. Want to try? Andre?"

With a snap of her fingers, a figure dressed like a butler respectfully handed a 'brick' to Li Mochen.

Li Mochen felt a sense of déjà vu about this object. It was a mobile phone produced by Titan Communications, a toy currently popular only among the wealthy. The original owner's father once had one. It was said that there were fewer than five million units worldwide, a symbol of the rich.

Li Mochen turned his head in frustration, knowing it was useless. Although the Wiltonstein family had moved its operational focus to Manhattan, the first metropolis of America, they remained one of the largest donors to the Atlanta City Police Department. Several collateral members of the family held high-ranking positions in the department, wielding real power.

It was easy to imagine that even if he called, the police department would ignore it.

"I gave you a chance."

Jennifer smiled smugly: "Then what about my answer? My dear brother, have you thought clearly about my proposal from before?"

"Don't call me that affectionately. I am no longer your brother, nor do I have any connection to the Wiltonstein family."

Li Mochen replied coldly: "As for the answer you want, my response last time is the same this time."

He could feel that the original owner of the body was extremely repulsed by the Wiltonstein family.

At this moment, Li Mochen was also quickly flipping through his memories and soon found the reason.

About ten days ago, Jennifer Wiltonstein had approached the original owner, intending to have him return to the Wiltonstein family. However, it required undergoing a magical ritual called 'Pure Blood Sacrifice' and becoming the adopted son of his uncle, Christian Wiltonstein.

As the name suggests, 'Pure Blood Sacrifice' could purify the Wiltonstein bloodline within Li Mochen's body.

His uncle, Christian Wiltonstein, ranked ninth among the current patriarch's offspring.

However, due to Christian's outstanding abilities and his formidable combat power at level fifteen, he not only entered the top five in the family's succession order but also held the rank of Major General in the Federal National Defense Forces, wielding significant power.

This was clearly a win-win 'transaction.' Christian, nearly thirty and without children, could gain a reliable pawn within the family, greatly enhancing his competitiveness. Li Mochen could also return to a life of luxury, even surpassing his previous state, becoming an enviable member of a prestigious family.

"You really are an incurable fool!"

Jennifer's face turned gloomy: "This is Uncle Christian's charity to you, and an opportunity I fought hard to get for you! Don't be ungrateful! Do you know how many collateral members in our family are eagerly waiting to be adopted by Christian? Those guys' magical talent can leave you in the dust."

"It may seem foolish in your eyes, but I simply don't want to."

Li Mochen replied calmly, with a hint of sarcasm: "This requires me to wash away my father's bloodline, doesn't it? Just like you, Jennifer Wiltonstein?"

Not to mention the original owner of the body, even he, an outsider, found this behavior repulsive.

"So what? The blood from the Easterners is a stain on our sacred Wiltonstein bloodline."

Jennifer hugged herself tightly, a look of disgust on her face: "I only regret that 'Pure Blood Sacrifice' can't wash away all his blood! I really don't understand how stupid Mother must have been to marry a Tang man from the East."

Li Mochen's eyes grew even darker: "Don't forget, without Father, you wouldn't exist. He never wronged you in any way."

According to the memories he searched, the original owner's parents indeed doted on this sister, even more than on the original Li Mochen.

Before transferring to Lynden Academy, Li Mochen was just a student at a high-end private school. But Jennifer Wiltonstein had always attended 'Starpulse,' the best aristocratic boarding school in America. His father, Li Chunchu, did everything possible to provide Jennifer with all he could: the best cultivation medicines, the best cosmetics, the best名牌 clothes and bags—so much so that Li Mochen, born eight years later, was almost jealous to the point of losing balance.

And what was the result? His sister regarded their father's bloodline as a disgrace and hated it deeply.

Understanding this, one could comprehend why the original owner detested his sister so much.

He even suspected that their parents' death might have been triggered by Jennifer undergoing 'Pure Blood Sacrifice' eight months ago. It was a naked betrayal, a knife thrust into their parents' hearts.

The original owner could still vividly recall the scene of Li Chunchu's hair turning white overnight.

"Staining the Wiltonstein blood is his greatest evil. So what if he gave birth to me? There was a time when I wished I had never been born into this world."

Jennifer stared at Li Mochen with knife-like eyes: "You've never experienced what I've been through. What right do you have to say that?"

"I haven't experienced it, but I can guess."

Li Mochen curled his lips in a contemptuous sneer: "You just resented that your parents couldn't buy you 'Yves Saint Laurent' brand clothes, couldn't let you stay in the top-tier rooms at 'Starpulse,' and couldn't give you millions to squander, making you looked down upon and mocked by your classmates. So you regarded them as a disgrace—"

A sharp crack suddenly sounded in the room. Before Li Mochen could finish, he felt his left cheek hit as if by an elephant's trunk, and his whole body was sent flying until he crashed into the wall behind him.

Blood was streaming from Li Mochen's mouth and nose, stars danced before his eyes, and his ears were ringing.

He couldn't help but smile bitterly. Jennifer had managed to slap him flying partly because it was unexpected, and partly because her martial prowess was indeed formidable—at least level twelve by this world's standards.

But the most critical factor was that his physical body was now completely destroyed, his spirit severely injured, leaving him unable to sense danger in real time or react instinctively.

Yet he felt no anger or hatred. Instead, he coughed dryly and chuckled coldly: "What's this? Hit a nerve, so you're lashing out in shame?"
