Chapter 109: Lizard

Destiny's Dominion · 第一零九章 蜥蜴

The Mohawk led Li Mochen to an underground garage, which was much more secluded than the previous alley.

But as they walked along, Qi Tai had already arrived nearby.

"BOSS, let me take care of them, OK? I know you don't care about these guys, but if you beat them too badly, it might cause some trouble."

Qi Tai transmitted his voice to Li Mochen's ear from dozens of meters away through a special magical artifact. The latter shook his head; he intended to handle this personally this time.

It was mainly because of the戾气 that had been brewing in his chest; he needed to vent it now. Richard's death not only stung his nerves but also angered the original owner of this body.

This group of thugs would serve as a perfect outlet.

"Alright, then please watch your分寸. As long as you don't kill anyone, everything will be fine. I'll be recording here, mainly the beginning part. Make sure not to strike first; we must claim self-defense. I've already contacted the Nathan Sports Group, and they will entrust the Pearson-Darby-Specter law firm to handle the rest."

When they reached the corner of the garage, seven people were already waiting there. All were adults, every one of them burly and muscular.

Only the one on the outermost side was different—not only did he look refined, but he was also wearing a student uniform.

Li Mochen gave him a deliberate glance because he recognized him: it was Samson, the one who had been publicly beaten by the grade advisor Richard earlier.

Li Mochen had suspected earlier that Richard's reason for seeking out Hancock might very well be this guy.

From the looks of it, this kid was indeed a piece of trash; he had already joined forces with Hancock so quickly?

He wondered if Samson knew that Richard had been killed.

But then a hint of confusion appeared in Li Mochen's eyes as he noticed some tiny scales on Samson's neck.

Just as he was focusing his observation, the Mohawk had already grabbed a steel pipe from one of his companions: "Boy, you think your fighting skills are so great that you can walk all over the school, huh? Ten days ago you broke our legs, and now you're looking for Hancock, right? Hancock told us to find you, you bastard! You've gone too far!"

He swung his weapon fiercely, bringing it down heavily on Li Mochen's head.

But in the next instant, the man's body was sent flying, crashing heavily into a nearby car. Not only did the steel pipe fly out of his hand, but his arm and one leg were bent at unnatural angles, eliciting a piercing scream from the Mohawk.

This clearly awakened the unpleasant memories of the few youths present, their faces turning pale and their eyes showing fear. They hadn't even seen how Li Mochen had struck.

Li Mochen, however, kept his eyes on Samson: "Richard is dead. This afternoon, someone found his body in the landfill near the school. You know how he died, don't you?"

Samson didn't answer, but his face had lost all color.

"Shit, are you all just going to stand there and watch? Watch him break my arms and legs?"

The Mohawk, having recovered from the pain, roared angrily at the others: "Why don't you all attack him together? Today, I want his brains beaten out! Samson, you bastard, fuck you, I told you to hit him, understand?"

The men surrounding Li Mochen hesitated for a moment before preparing to act again. Especially the few adult brutes, who wore sinister grins.

But in the next instant, those grins froze on their faces. With two dull thuds, two more figures flew backward, crashing heavily onto car roofs, setting off piercing car alarms.

Li Mochen coldly shook the steel pipe he had grabbed, flicking off the blood droplets, then swung it again with a speed barely visible, directly breaking one man's wrist. The pipe then generated a pulling force, causing the man to involuntarily lift into the air. First came a crisp 'crack,' followed by a loud crash as the flying figure shattered the windshield of a nearby Puma car.

The sounds rang out one after another. No one could get within one and a half meters of Li Mochen. Even the few burly men who were clearly fifth-level magic professionals couldn't escape; they were all sent flying like broken sacks, each with half their limbs broken. This made the remaining few panic and retreat continuously.

"As they say, 'three strikes and you're out.' This is the third time, and I can still forgive you, but the punishment will be doubled. However, if any of you can tell me where Hancock is, I'll let you off—"

Li Mochen's words abruptly stopped because he saw ahead a creature that was neither human nor beast, expanding in size.

Its shape resembled a lizard, yet it maintained a human outline, which Li Mochen found extremely incongruous and bizarre. Its狰狞 face, pale claws and teeth, and the saliva dripping from its mouth were enough to terrify and disgust any ordinary person.

In Li Mochen's eyes, it was a monster forcibly merging human and lizard.

"Hey, see that? That's our lizard monster. He'll beat you to a pulp."

The Mohawk's eyes showed a smug smile: "Go get him, Samson! Just like when you killed Richard yesterday. Haven't you been feeling hungry? If you have an appetite, you can eat him too, haha—"

When he heard the words 'killed Richard,' anger flared in Li Mochen's eyes. He dropped the steel pipe and slowly drew the 'Power' training sword from his sword bag.

The giant lizard transformed from Samson had already pounced to within two meters of him. Li Mochen could even smell the foul breath from its mouth and nose. But in the next moment, his body moved in a Z-shaped zigzag, a bizarre drift that effortlessly and perfectly evaded the attack, bringing him above Samson. The next second, with a flash of sword light like lightning, the 'Power' training sword pierced the giant lizard's pupil and drove deep into its brain.

Yet Samson did not die. He struggled to get up from the ground but couldn't lift his body. Li Mochen coldly pulled out the 'Power' sword and mercilessly sliced off the monster's hands and feet, one by one.

This sight made everyone around shudder uncontrollably, their faces ashen like corpses. The few who still had intact limbs involuntarily stepped back and then began to flee. They didn't even think to draw their guns; the black-haired youth's aura had shattered their courage.

When Samson's limbs were all severed and he could only lie helplessly on the ground, Li Mochen raised his head and looked at the remaining few with bloodshot eyes.

But just as he was about to strike and finish off the rest, Qi Tai's voice rang in his ear again.

"BOSS, you can stop now. If you continue, it could be considered excessive self-defense or intentional injury. Leave the rest to the police; they've already arrived. Those guys can't escape; all exits of the garage are sealed. In Damon's hands, their fate won't be any better."

Li Mochen frowned slightly but ultimately stopped in place and didn't act again, because he too heard the distant sound of police sirens.
