Chapter 467: Untitled

Destiny's Dominion · 第四六七章 无题

"Miss Adric, your swordsmanship is excellent. If not for your injury, I might not have been your match."

After the two parties signed the Astral Covenant, Li Mochen deliberately walked up to Delphinia Adric and extended his hand in a friendly manner.

But this valiant woman, taking his words as an insult, turned pale and flew away directly. The middle-aged butler—the one who signed the name 'Bob Albinsson' on the covenant—followed her out of this astral realm.

Yet before tearing open the void, Delphinia turned back to take a deep look at Li Mochen, as if to engrave his image in her heart.

"Her swordsmanship is indeed top-tier at the legendary level, even without her void ability."

Anthony walked up beside Li Mochen: "But Her Highness the Void Night Lord probably won't appreciate your goodwill."

Perhaps having gained considerable benefits from the two alien legends, Anthony was in excellent spirits, his face full of smiles.

Li Mochen, however, glared at the billionaire with a hint of reproach: "Enjoyed the show, huh?"

He knew that Anthony and the others had arrived just three minutes into his battle with Delphinia, which had lasted nine minutes.

"I said it was splendid!"

Anthony shrugged, unfazed by Li Mochen's harsh tone: "Amo, you can't blame me. I could tell you were enjoying it, savoring the fight."

"That's no excuse for standing by."

Li Mochen snorted but eventually dropped his aggressive demeanor: "I'm leaving now. I have to rush to another place."

"The Wiltonstein family council?"

Anthony had already guessed: "The prince is about to don his crown, isn't he?"

"What prince and crown? My business with the Wiltonsteins is none of yours!"

Li Mochen tucked away the Astral Covenant and, with Robert's help, flew into the distant void. Nearby, he found another spectator hiding not far away—Angela Medici.

When discovered, the girl put on an innocent look and smiled nervously: "I just came to help, afraid Haelor couldn't find the way."

"But this is the astral realm. You don't think this level-19 gear can keep you safe, do you?"

Li Mochen looked at the silver-white armor on the girl and sneered with extreme displeasure: "You've got nerve, Angie. I'll tell Michel everything about today. Miss Angela's spirit of adventure is truly commendable."

As he spoke, he pinched Haelor's cheek hard. The little girl's face turned bitter, but she made no attempt to resist. She knew the consequences, but Angela had taught her many things lately, and Haelor couldn't refuse.

"I was worried about you, okay? If you couldn't subdue her, I thought I might be able to help."

Angela's face paled. She grabbed Li Mochen's arm, looking aggrieved as she begged for mercy: "Tattling to parents is so lame, Amo. Michel will cut my allowance. And you can't blame Haelor; I begged her."

"Begging me won't help."

Li Mochen curled his lip, unmoved.

Those two were too reckless. They were lucky not to encounter a spatial storm; otherwise, Angela would either die on the spot or suffer bodily and soul mutations.

Angela's knowledge base was top-tier, surpassing Li Mochen's by more than one level within this world. She couldn't have been unaware of the consequences of rashly entering the astral realm.

As for Haelor, the girl was clearly getting cocky. Having been in and out of the astral realm once or twice, she thought she could protect Angela safely in this boundless void.

So Li Mochen not only didn't let go but added his other hand, pinching even harder and pulling her cheeks outward, making Haelor on the verge of tears. She could only mumble, "I won't do it again, never again. Brother, let me go. No next time, okay? I promise to be good—"

Only then did Li Mochen release Haelor's face: "Take Angela back. If you encounter trouble, contact Delphinia immediately, understand?"

What Anthony got from the Void Night Lord was a letter of guarantee, in which Delphinia promised that her alien forces would not actively attack the assets and personnel of the Braden family from today onward.

Moreover, she would sell a batch of rare resources from the dark world to him at a very low price.

Li Mochen, on the other hand, not only obtained Delphinia's guarantee but also reached a substantive employment agreement with the two alien legends.

It was similar to the one the legendary lich Lind Emers had signed with Douglas Duncan. Over the next four hundred years, Delphinia would retain her freedom but would need to handle two tasks for Li Mochen each year within her capabilities, and Bob Albinsson three—though Li Mochen would pay corresponding compensation.

There was also a supplementary clause: if Li Mochen had additional requests within a year, the two could choose whether to execute them. If they did, one year of the contract term would be deducted.

Li Mochen was very satisfied with the agreement. Although he hadn't brought a powerful fighter like Delphinia under his command, the contract ensured that the Void Night Lord would serve him in certain critical battles.

It also came with a powerful magic shooter. Bob Albinsson might have been subdued in a few moves, but if he were sniping from thirty kilometers away, Li Mochen would have to put in some effort to take him down.

Of course, using the pseudo-dragon might changed things. As long as the merit energy in the Divine Radiance Fortune Purple Gold Tower was sufficient, he could even try his hand against a true god.

Just as Haelor dragged Angela away, the silent 'Blood-Eyed Angel' Robert Yvonne turned to look at him.

"Why?"

This maid was also a woman of few words, extremely concise. Victor Maxim also perked up, listening intently.

Li Mochen had had the chance to completely enslave Delphinia but had voluntarily given it up, leaving him puzzled and regretful.

"It's a win-win. I could kill them or use a secret method to forcibly enslave her, but she would lose all self-awareness and possibly her void ability."

Li Mochen shook his head: "I don't want a legendary fifth-level idiot. It's that simple."

With that, he reached out to Robert again. She understood and tore through the void, flying out of the astral realm.

Meanwhile, standing with Anthony, Lady Christy Brad withdrew her gaze from Li Mochen: "Thank you, Anthony."

Anthony Braden, about to break through the space-time barrier and return to the material world, smiled: "You're welcome, Christy. We're friends, aren't we?"
