Chapter 686: The Poison Dragon

Destiny's Dominion · 第六八六章 毒龙

Above Alaska, the gods led by Gaia were not shaken by the unexpected turn of the battle in the underworld.

They paused only for an instant, then poured all their divine authority and power toward Li Mochen's direction.

The war resolve of the several god-kings had not diminished; on the contrary, it became more persistent and urgent.

However, after three minutes, Zeus was forced to withdraw from the battle against Li Mochen. The 'World Serpent' Jörmungandr had risen from the depths of the sea, chasing his figure, devouring his power, and absorbing his authority.

Jörmungandr did not have Zeus's speed, but coiled its massive serpent body over Alaska, leaving Zeus, with his truth-level 'Thunder', no room to evade.

This 'World Serpent' did not only absorb his lightning; all the gods and all the energy within this battlefield were sources of power for Jörmungandr.

It would gather these forces to a certain level and then release them all at once, a destructive power that even Gaia, whose defensive capabilities were among the highest of the gods, could not ignore.

Heracles, together with Fenrir, stood at an altitude of one hundred thousand meters above Alaska, guarding their king's 'back'.

It must be noted that the 'back' here was merely a concept. Li Mochen's battle with these ancient deities had long extended into multiple dimensions, not limited by directions like front, back, left, or right.

They merely watched over the directions Li Mochen could not attend to, ensuring that no power or attack could bypass them and strike Li Mochen's physical body.

It was also because the latter's offensive was too wild; he did not disperse his power but locked onto the 'Truth Sovereign' Ahura alone, unleashing a storm of attacks, his eyes filled with madness, contempt, and brutality.

Lord Ahura, you know I'm gambling, don't you?

Amid his unceasing slashes, Ahura's body once again turned to light and exploded. But this did not free him from the perilous situation; Li Mochen had already pre-positioned numerous thunder-fire star-core sword energies along his retreat path, causing the 'light' he transformed into to explode further.

The ability to rewind time gave Li Mochen far greater foresight and judgment than 'prophecy' and 'clairvoyance', as well as a more powerful force to weave destiny.

I'm betting that you dare not fight me to the death!

Li Mochen reached out and grabbed, using the power of time to fix those beams of light in place. But just as Li Mochen's 'All-Heaven Thunder-Fire Star-Core Sword Formation' erupted violently, about to shred the god-king's soul and body, Gaia appeared in time. She condensed the power of earth and the source into a stone giant, forcibly shattering the billions of sword lights that fell.

Li Mochen was unconcerned. His backtracking and layout twenty seconds in advance allowed him to easily shatter Gaia's stone giant again. Then his Fateful Sword once more cleaved Ahura, who was trying to regroup.

Of course you can go all out in this battle! But Lord Ahura, are you prepared to sacrifice yourself for everyone, to be killed by me here?

Zeus!

Just as Ahura's transformed light and shadow grew increasingly sluggish, Gaia suddenly screamed: How long are you going to wait? Until he beats us one by one? I know you have devoured Kronos and Uranus; the only one here who can stop him is you!

Zeus, entangled by Jörmungandr, had an extremely gloomy expression, but then he unhesitatingly spread a pair of wings. The powers of 'Time' and 'Space' interfered with the battlefield, and he began to go all out to prevent Li Mochen from rampaging through the river of time.

He had to do this. The 'Lord of Fate' was still using his old tactics, not even changing his lines. But Zeus had to admit that this method was very effective. He knew that if he delayed any longer, Ahura Mazda might directly withdraw from the battle. That would mean the collapse of their alliance, and the Alaska war they had initiated would face utter defeat!

However, after Zeus focused on interfering with time, the 'World Serpent' Jörmungandr changed targets. It began to coil around the Lord of Light, absorbing the latter's powerful and deadly light energy.

Wow, finally starting to fight for real?

Li Mochen was not at all surprised. In fact, Ahura, whom he was frantically pursuing, had already gone all out. The latter applied truth-level 'Truth' in battle, repeatedly escaping his fate-weaving and time-tracing, avoiding injury under Li Mochen's targeting.

But Li Mochen also sensed that the Lord of Light's emotions were clearly off. Ahura's covetousness and ambition for 'Truth' were now blatantly obvious!

If this is all you've got, it's far from enough!

Bang!

This gunshot did not originate from their battle. It was Li Mochen's secondary body, the 'Time Sovereign', firing from the top floor of the magic tower in the Land of Fate.

The sniper bullet fired by the 'Divine Will' sniper rifle had already struck Ahura's 'War Angel' Bahram the moment it left the barrel.

The power of time and the light-speed bullet directly ignored the distance of seven thousand kilometers. The tracing of time caused the 'War Angel' Bahram's divine power to suddenly riot, losing the opportunity to dodge.

This main god-level angel king was directly shattered in his divine power core, his divine power turning into pure white fire spreading through the air, while his soul fragments were forcibly extracted by the Amerikan underworld.

You shouldn't be surprised, right? I can't do anything to you now, but I will make your subordinates die one by one before your eyes!

Li Mochen smiled, his aura like a demon: Let me tell you another secret. Mithras has assured me that as long as you, Ahura, die, he will defect and join the Fate Pantheon. As for your enemy, the Lord of Light, his mother has also made a promise to me. If I can kill you or drive you out of the Light World, she will offer me a pseudo-truth-level mythical artifact.

That never happened!

The Lord of Light snorted coldly. He temporarily set aside Jörmungandr's harassment and instead swept thousands of solar spears toward Li Mochen.

This deity's actions were always as upright and open as his divine nature, but this time, the millions of light spears he launched were surprisingly yang within yin, producing an 'annihilation' effect similar to matter-antimatter. Not only did they possess immense lethality, but they also used enormous energy to shake all dimensions here, disturbing the river of time and the void world.

Li Mochen was slightly surprised. He recognized this as the power of 'Taiyin', a combination of shadow, darkness, and other forces, corresponding to 'Sun', that is, the yin and yang aspects of the world. The Lord of Light's achievement in this area was almost on par with Li Mochen's current level.

This also indicated that the Lord of Light was indeed trying to solve his own problems and had achieved considerable results. He was using the method of extreme yang generating yin, balancing yin and yang to compensate for his own deficiencies, while also resisting his main body, the 'Shadow Moon Wolf Lord'.

Extreme yang generating yin? Interesting!

Li Mochen smiled slightly, then summoned countless black and white light particles before him. When they interwove, an even more intense burst of light erupted.

In that instant, all matter within a hundred kilometers was directly vaporized. The powerful shockwave also forced Ahura, Gaia, and others back.

He did not directly resist the Lord of Light's holy spears, but instead guided the situation to create a larger explosion and annihilation, further shaking the dimensions of time and space, making the river of time even more turbulent and chaotic.

This did not affect Li Mochen's interference with the past; instead, it left Zeus at a loss. His pseudo-truth-level 'Time' could not precisely control the temporal forces amid the turmoil. But the past time was stable, or had already been experienced by the future Li Mochen.

Bang!

The second gunshot from the magic tower in the Land of Fate once again shook the void.

Very few people could hear this sound, because at this moment, most had already gone deaf from the continuous explosions. But that definitely did not include Ahura Mazda, whose emotions rarely showed anger and anxiety.

He once again turned into light and chased after Li Mochen's bullet. But behind him were thousands of 'All-Heaven Thunder-Fire Star-Core Sword Energies' blasted by Li Mochen.

Odin!

Gaia's body was once again shattered by Li Mochen. She glared at Odin, who was being intercepted by Hela, Fenrir, and Heracles, her eyes confused and angry.

The latter remained silent, but his figure flickered, forcibly crossing over Li Mochen's three angels and subordinate gods, and appeared behind Li Mochen.

The miraculous ability he displayed was truth-level 'Flame'. He directly appeared beside Li Mochen through the high-temperature flames around him.

Li Mochen showed no surprise. He directly thrust his sword backward, merging his nine types of forbidden spells and pseudo-truth-level divine authorities such as 'Power', 'War', 'Yin-Yang', 'Annihilation', and 'Matter-Antimatter' into one.

This powerful force allowed the Fateful Sword to easily repel the two 'Gungnir Holy Spears'. Next came fist against fist; both figures were blasted back, but Odin was clearly at a disadvantage, with a trace of blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.

Li Mochen laughed triumphantly: I think you must have felt it, King Odin? Ragnarök is coming! I can sound the horn of Ragnarök at any moment. This makes me very curious—what choice will you make, King Odin?

Nonsense!

Odin grunted. He tried again to flash in front of Li Mochen using flames, but was successfully blocked by Fenrir. Fenrir's pseudo-truth-level flame, though unable to rival Odin, was enough to prevent the latter from freely teleporting within a small area around him using flames.

Odin's two 'Gungnir Holy Spears' ultimately clashed with Heracles' 'Execution Edict Sword' with a loud bang. The latter retreated a few meters in the air, then raised his eyebrows slightly.

He was actually superior to Odin in strength, but the Aesir king, as a god of war, possessed more than just strength. Fortunately, Hela and Fenrir assisted, especially Hela, whose truth-level 'Ice' extinguished the flames spreading from Odin's body.

But what surprised Heracles was not Odin's strength. On the contrary, he felt that after Odin unleashed truth-level flames, he was actually less aggressive than before, giving a feeling of insufficient stamina.

The Aesir king opposite was desperately trying to hide this, but it was hard to deceive Heracles, who was fighting him head-on in close combat.

What was going on? Was he deliberately showing weakness to make him and Fenrir careless and complacent? But what was the point? With the sovereigns of fate and time, as well as the gods of prophecy and divination present, it would be difficult for Odin to succeed in any scheme.

However, Fenrir, beside Heracles, seemed to see through something, his eyes gleaming.

Ha! Ragnarök!

At this moment, Fenrir shed his human form and revealed his wolf form: You must have felt it too, Odin! The destiny belonging to you and me is about to arrive. Look! The great power of heaven and earth is helping me. The world's source has already decreed your death—

Also sensing the change was the winter goddess Hela, whose eyes were filled with disbelief and immense excitement and elation.

She thought she could not be mistaken; the source will and the power of heaven and earth were indeed favoring her and Fenrir. Hela clearly felt her power increase, and the might of her 'Ice' divine authority was further strengthened.

Of course, this was not because she herself had grown stronger; it was simply that she could now more easily draw on the power of the world's source. Fate and causality were also favoring her, making Hela's power and divine authority more destructive.

Just as her brother had said, their 'destiny' was about to arrive. It originated from ancient prophecy and was also the current world will.

But besides that, Hela also detected the power of the 'Lord of Fate'. Her sovereign was using his authority to leverage their destiny.

At this moment, Hela involuntarily recalled the exchange between her and Li Mochen a few days ago. He had asked her very seriously if she was willing to fulfill her destiny, at the cost of losing her immortality.

At that time, Hela had vaguely sensed that her sovereign would do something in this battle, and she had agreed without hesitation. If she could kill Odin and destroy his pantheon, eliminating the enemies of the frost giants, Hela did not care about her immortality.

But no matter how optimistic she had been then, she never imagined that Li Mochen would initiate the true 'Ragnarök' in this Alaska war!

At almost the same time, the 'God of Truth and Justice', Forseti, returned to 'Asgard'.

This common divine realm of the Aesir was originally constructed from hundreds of ships, including Odin's 'Hliðskjálf', Thor's 'Bilskirnir', and Frigg's 'Fensalir'.

This not only united the divine realms of hundreds of gods but also allowed the 'Asgard Domain' to travel through the outer void.

At the time of Forseti's return, most of the ships within Asgard had already departed to participate in the war in Alaska. However, this vast divine land did not show any abnormality, nor did it collapse.

This was because of the 'World Tree' at the center of 'Asgard', the first 'oak' since the creation of the Light World, and the true core and skeleton of 'Asgard'.

At this moment, if someone looked from the perspective of the outer realm, they could see that many roots of this 'oak' extended into the outer void, like the tentacles of an octopus, constantly extracting and refining star power and magical energy from the outer realm, pouring them into this world of the Aesir gods.

Inside 'Asgard', it had numerous branches shaped like discs. In normal times, the ships of the Aesir gods would rest on these discs, absorbing the magical energy infused by the World Tree.

In Norse mythology, this World Tree was also the foundation of the Aesir pantheon, named 'Yggdrasill' (Askr Yggdrasills), where 'Ygg' means 'terrible', also another name for Odin, and 'drasill' means 'horse', also 'throne'.

Legend has it that Odin once hanged himself on the tree and pierced himself and the 'World Tree' together with the spear 'Gungnir', showing the tree's importance to Odin. Anyone with a little magical knowledge could know that this was actually a magical ritual with奇妙 abilities.

It is also said that this tree reaches the sky, and from it derive nine kingdoms—such as Midgard, Asgard, Helheim, and so on.

Moreover, there are three thick roots. One root goes deep into 'Asgard', beneath which lies the Well of Urd, where the gods gather daily for meetings. Also residing there are the Norns, the goddesses of fate.

The second root goes deep into Jotunheim, the land of the giants, beneath which lies Mimir's Well, the well of wisdom and knowledge.

The third root goes deep into Niflheim, the 'Mist World', beneath which lies Hvergelmir, and a poison dragon 'Níðhöggr' (meaning 'despair') that constantly gnaws at the root. It bites the root endlessly until one day when it finally breaks the tree, Ragnarök will come.

These legends are exaggerated, compiled by Aesir priests to harvest mortal faith and maintain and strengthen the gods' divinity. However, the 'Asgard Domain' centered on the World Tree is indeed very vast, like a complete world. So this oak tree is indeed crucial to the Aesir pantheon.

After stepping into 'Asgard', Forseti also immediately cast his gaze upon this 'World Tree'.

Though myths are merely myths, they still reveal some truths about the gods. And the legends about the gods themselves also influence their divinity.

As far as Forseti understood, this 'World Tree' was not only the core and center of Asgard; it also had an extremely important connection with Odin and the Aesir gods.

With the profound knowledge of the 'Lord of Truth', Eistanden, more than a hundred years before becoming Forseti, had already seen through the truth of the ancient myths.

The reason the Lord of the Aesir gods used 'Gungnir' to nail himself to the 'World Tree' was to completely eliminate the Light World's rejection of him and to draw power from the 'World Tree'.

Odin, who had lagged behind Zeus at that time, forcibly reincarnated with the help of Bor and the giantess Bestla, but still could not be truly accepted by the world's roots. Yet he took a different path, binding himself to the World Tree 'Yggdrasil', and thus truly integrated into this world.

Therefore, this 'World Tree' can be regarded as one of Odin's true bodies. And all his children—Thor, Tyr, Baldr, Höðr, and so on—also flow with the bloodline of the 'World Tree'. This is also one of their sources of power, so Odin's offspring possess divine power far stronger than other gods; the roots of the 'World Tree' continuously provide them with power.

As for the venomous dragon 'Níðhöggr', it is not a real dragon, but merely a manifestation of the original will of the 'World Tree' and 'Odin'. It is suppressed beneath the roots; when it finally gnaws through the tree, that will be the moment Odin and his gods lose their power.

This World Tree might also be Odin's ultimate trump card in the struggle for 'God Above Gods'. Forseti could sense within the tree trunk a power that was extremely pure, vast, and being nurtured, gathering momentum, waiting to be unleashed.

But today, the prophecy of 'Ragnarök' was about to be fulfilled by his hand.

Next, Forseti took a step and arrived at the roots of the 'World Tree'. As in the myths, here lay the 'Well of Urd'.

In ancient times, when 'Asgard' was still a mortal hill, and Odin had not yet finished remodeling the warship 'Klitaskov' obtained from Moshla to build his temple, the gods of the Aesir indeed held council here. This was also where Odin and Loki became sworn brothers.

It was also called the 'Well of Fate'; the water's surface, under the influence of divine power, would reveal the future's fate—this was also something Li Mochen had long coveted.

Without any hesitation, Forseti took a bottle of red liquid from his sleeve and poured it into the spring.

In the past, Forseti's actions would have already alarmed the 'Norns (Fate) Three Goddesses' stationed here. Odin and Frigg would not have allowed it, and the guardian god Heimdallr stood year-round on the Bifröst, observing all anomalies inside and outside the divine realm.

But now, almost all the major gods of the Aesir had thrown themselves into the battle against the Fates Pantheon.

Although Odin's will still watched over this place, and Thor's wife, the 'Goddess of Earth and Harvest' Sif, had always been stationed at the top of the World Tree, Forseti still completed this step very calmly and easily. From start to finish, no one detected anything unusual.

Next, Forseti appeared at the edge of the 'Well of Mimir', similarly sprinkling a mass of red liquid into the pool.

Then he came to the tree roots again, took out a syringe, and prepared to inject it into the 'World Tree'.

Not long ago, his sovereign had traveled back through time several times. In ancient ages, before the 'World Tree' fell into Odin's hands, he had broken off a branch, cut a section of root, and collected a bit of bark and wood from the main trunk.

These syringes and liquids were the results of the Fates Pantheon's research on the 'World Tree'. They were composed of various microorganisms, a combination of viruses and bacteria, capable of rapidly spreading from the tree's roots and eventually disintegrating this great chaotic creation from within.

The so-called 'Twilight Plan' had succeeded from this moment; with the effect of the syringes and drugs, its collapse was only a matter of time.

Next, Forseti would continue injecting syringes into various parts of the 'World Tree' to accelerate the spread of those pathogenic microorganisms, causing it to collapse and disintegrate faster, affecting the 'Aesir gods' on the battlefield as quickly as possible.

For this purpose, Forseti had specifically studied the divine powers of 'Proliferation' and 'Wood Spirit' over the past few years, elevating them to a high level.

This did nothing for his own strength, but it maximized the speed of pathogen reproduction and spread.

Forseti soon arrived at the middle section of the 'World Tree', and just as he was about to do the same, someone within Asgard finally became alert.

It was not the 'Goddess of Earth and Harvest' Sif stationed at the top of the World Tree, but the separated souls of the Norn Three Goddesses left in Asgard. They frantically soared into the air, sweeping their spiritual thoughts across the entire divine realm while letting out piercing screams.

"Who? Who is poisoning? Our enemy, he is destroying the World Tree?"

Forseti was unconcerned. The Norn Three Goddesses were also one with the World Tree, so they could be reborn a thousand years after death.

But this came at a cost: the consequence of binding their lives to the World Tree was that when the World Tree showed abnormalities or declined, the Norn Three Goddesses would also be greatly affected.

The three Fate Goddesses were clearly delirious. Though they swept their soul consciousness back and forth inside and outside the World Tree, it had no effect at all. In this state, even if someone stood before them, they might not perceive it.

Only at the top of the World Tree, the awakened 'Goddess of Earth and Harvest' Sif, could make Forseti slightly wary. But it was only 'slight wariness'; Forseti firmly believed that in current Asgard, no one could be his opponent, including this Goddess Sif.

The consequence of being discovered would only be interference, delaying the time of the World Tree's destruction.

"Who is it?"

Just as Forseti injected the seventh syringe, Sif's divine thought finally broke through the divine powers of 'Deception', 'Concealment', and others surrounding him, locking onto Forseti's figure.

Then the goddess's face showed an expression of disbelief.

"Forseti? How is it you? Have you gone mad?"

She then realized, her eyes blazing with anger: "You are not him! Who exactly are you?"

Forseti did not answer. He looked meaningfully at the roots, where a large patch of black flame had begun to burn from the roots and was frantically spreading upward.

That was the venomous dragon 'Níðhöggr', the powerful evil spirit formed from the union of the World Tree and Odin's original will, which had seized the opportunity and no longer wished to be suppressed and dormant by the Aesir's power.

And in the original prophecy of the Norn Three Goddesses, the twilight of the Aesir gods began with the venomous dragon 'Níðhöggr' devouring the World Tree.

"Forseti!"

A roar full of fury resounded throughout the divine realm. A flame burned in the void, quickly condensing into Odin's figure.

He glared at 'Forseti', a bloodthirsty red gleam in his eyes: "What are you doing? Are you trying to destroy the World Tree, destroy your kin, destroy Asgard?"

That should be Odin's separated soul incarnation; his manifested body was illusory, but in both aura and divine pressure, it was no different from his true body.

"Father, he is not Forseti!"

Sif corrected with a pale face: "Forseti may already be dead! He not only seized Forseti's divine office but also usurped his identity."

At the same time, a hint of wariness appeared in her eyes.

She had been trying to capture or kill the enemy, but the result was that Sif could not even touch the hem of this person's clothes.

Though she was the 'Goddess of Earth and Harvest' wielding ultimate 'Earth' and ultimate 'Wood Spirit', before this 'Forseti', she was as clumsy as a child swinging a hammer.

Of course, this was also due to the World Tree's damage from the poison, which greatly weakened her power.

"Bether Eistanden, 'Angel of Truth' before the 'Lord of Fate', greets Your Majesty!"

'Forseti' revealed his true form and bowed slightly to the other with courtesy: "I am ordered to come here, to sound the horn of twilight!"

"Angel of Truth? Eistanden?"

As if from intense emotional fluctuation, the body manifested by Odin was in an agitated and unstable state: "So, you also killed Baldr?"

"That was not the work of me alone, but the result of the joint efforts of your enemies inside and outside the pantheon."

Eistanden laughed: "You need not guess, it was not Loki. Your Majesty Odin, you do have enemies within the pantheon, do you not? For instance, your two brothers; I recall they once usurped your position in the pantheon for a time?"

Eistanden himself was not so glib, nor did he enjoy chatting with enemies. This was all on the instruction of his sovereign, to use these words to shake the opponent's mind.

Odin in perfect condition, of course, could not be affected by these words. But at this moment, when the pathogens were rampantly expanding deep within the World Tree and the venomous dragon 'Níðhöggr' was gnawing at the World Tree's roots, it was hard to say how much reason this god-king, who shared life and death with the World Tree, could retain.

"Or take Thor, who is also highly suspect. The next god-king you chose should have been Baldr, right? Or Freyr, he is the god of light of the Vanir—"

Boom!

Both sides saw through each other's intention to stall for time, but it was Odin who struck first.

Sensing that the poison within the World Tree was rapidly spreading under Eistanden's divine power, and that his own power could not stop it, Odin unhesitatingly summoned countless flaming spears and hurled them at Eistanden. Then they exploded one after another, scattering a sky full of fire clouds.

But the latter's figure directly transformed into a blue particle state, completely unaffected by the flames.

"This is my unique divine power 'Quantum', a new power, a new divine power that you have always coveted."

At this moment, Eistanden's voice carried a hint of excitement: "Though still only pseudo-truth level, it allows me to transform my body into the smallest and most basic particles of matter, and also to manipulate any matter, any energy in this world, even extending to the four fundamental forces. You may not understand, so you cannot kill me, Odin!"

Accompanying these words was a massive amount of lightning, majestic and vast, almost comparable to 'Aio' and 'Thor' on the Alaskan battlefield.

What shocked Odin and Sif even more was that part of the flames Odin had hurled were now also falling under Eistanden's control.

These lightning bolts and flames were now condensed into a huge purple-red dragon, charging at the two of them.

Odin's countenance was cold; using his hand as a weapon, he raised several blade lights that flashed, cutting the purple-red dragon into tens of thousands of pieces. Before him, dense magical shields formed.

This was Asgard, the divine realm of the Aesir gods, where Odin had the greatest authority. So even though only an incarnation was placed here, and all the powerful artifacts were absent, he could still unleash vast divine power no less than his true body.

Yet the next moment, a look of astonishment appeared on Odin's face. Those thunderfires penetrated his magical shields without hindrance. Even the 'Hill Shield' of the 'Goddess of Earth and Harvest' Sif could not block them; the penetrating thunderfires blasted her body full of holes, flesh and blood charred black.

"This is my first time using this power; it seems the effect is not bad."

Eistanden's figure materialized again a thousand meters away, still a mass of blue particles: "As I said before, I can transform my body, my divine power, into the smallest particles of the world, thereby controlling the transmission of energy. Your defensive methods are full of loopholes for my new divine power; you cannot possibly defend against me."

"Nonsense!"

At this moment, Odin's figure rose to the top of the World Tree, his words filled with supreme divine majesty.

"Sinner, kneel! I will judge your crime!"

This was a divine word combining the divine powers of 'Kingship', 'Majesty', 'Decree', 'Word Spirit', and others. Though it did not make Eistanden kneel directly, it locked his particle cluster in place, unable to move.

At the same time, a mass of blazing white 'Judgment Fire' descended from the top of the World Tree.

Eistanden's particle cluster recondensed into human form; he coldly watched the fire in the sky, making no attempt to evade.

And when the 'Judgment Fire', which could burn almost any substance, fell, Eistanden's particle cluster remained unmoved.

"There are many powers that can kill me, Your Majesty Odin. Fate, causality, time sequence, photons, lightning, and so on; even your flames could do it. But there is a prerequisite: you must have an accurate understanding of my state and sufficient power. Your current state is far from enough."

He had clearly sensed that this god-king, deeply affected by the World Tree, now had less than eighty percent of his full strength.

In this situation, even if Odin's true body returned, it would be very difficult to kill him here in Asgard.
