Chapter 1185: He Got In!

凡人修仙之仙界篇 · 第一千一百八十五章 进去了!

"What's going on?"

"Impossible!"

"How can a single human body contain such a complex array of true spirit bloodlines?" the Qing Ape Clan Chief exclaimed loudly.

"We barbarian races are heavily influenced by our own bloodlines, making it difficult to incorporate other true spirit bloodlines. Humans, on the other hand, have bloodlines that don't clash violently with true spirit bloodlines, allowing for the possibility of integration. But how can such a complex mixture of bloodlines exist within a human physique without causing a collapse?" the Banshan Ape Clan Chief raised his long eyebrows, equally puzzled.

Li Qima, who had already entered a meditative state, couldn't help but reopen his eyes upon hearing the commotion.

"Truly breathtaking..." he murmured in genuine admiration as he gazed at the extraordinary sight before him.

Meanwhile, within the Barbarian Sacred Hall on the Eight Desolate Mountain, two of the eight originally vacant seats were now occupied.

Bai Ze sat in his own seat, looking toward another seat not far away, where a burly man in a black robe sat with a commanding presence.

He was robust and imposing, but his clothes were tattered, full of holes and frayed threads, resembling the patched garments often worn by beggars in the marketplace.

The man pushed back his hood, revealing a sharply defined face covered in gray-black stubble. His slightly sunken eyes shone unusually bright in the dim hall, and he exuded an air of weathered experience.

He was none other than the True Spirit King, You Tian Kun Peng, who had just returned.

"Yue Mian, I knew you hadn't strayed far from the barbarian lands, but I didn't expect you to return so quickly," Bai Ze said, a rare warmth in his smile.

"Enough with the pleasantries. Why was the Asura Blood Gate suddenly opened? Is the barbarian realm facing another calamity?" the black-robed man, Yue Mian, asked coldly.

"Are you aware that the Heavenly Court is about to hold the Bodhi Banquet?" Bai Ze asked, unfazed.

"What of it?" Yue Mian frowned in return.

"I know you still blame me for what happened back then, but..." Bai Ze hesitated.

"Back then, the Heavenly Court coveted Mo Yu's abilities and wanted to recruit him. Mo Yu would rather die than comply, leading to a fierce battle with the Heavenly Court. At that time, you restrained us for the sake of the barbarian realm's greater good, forbidding us from engaging in all-out war. And what was the result? Not only did Mo Yu fall in battle, but Old Yuan also perished, his body lost to us. Now, even if the Heavenly Court makes another move, our spirits are broken, and we can only go with the flow," Yue Mian sneered, speaking slowly.

"Back then... it wasn't that I was unwilling to wage all-out war, but Mo Yu foresaw the outcome of such a conflict with the Heavenly Court. He threatened me with death, forbidding my intervention..." Bai Ze's face showed hesitation as he spoke with difficulty.

Yue Mian's expression shifted upon hearing this, and he fell into deep thought, knowing that Bai Ze never spoke falsely.

"Yuan Gang was also aware of this, but he still chose to act. Over the years, I have regretted it endlessly, but regret is useless now..." Bai Ze sighed heavily.

"Indeed, it's useless," Yue Mian sighed, rising to leave.

"Taowu and Zhu Yan have also fallen. In all the barbarian realm, only you, me, and Luohou remain," Bai Ze said.

At these words, Yue Mian's body froze in place.

"Only us left..." he turned back to Bai Ze with difficulty, murmuring.

"Now that the Asura Blood Gate has reopened and the Barbarian Sacred Hall has reappeared, I have gathered the bloodline descendants of the fallen and sent them in to inherit the bloodlines of the other True Spirit Kings. They need time to grow," Bai Ze said.

"Are you worried that the Heavenly Court will discover your actions here and attack the barbarian realm, so you want me and Luohou to return and protect them?" Yue Mian sat back down on the stone seat, his body slightly hunched, asking.

"The barbarian realm needs you," Bai Ze said, looking directly into Yue Mian's eyes.

"Though I have been wandering in outer space all these years, I have always been waiting for the day I could return to the barbarian realm. The blood debt the Heavenly Court owes us will one day be repaid," Yue Mian said, his gaze sharpening, his aura suddenly becoming fierce.

"That day is not far off," Bai Ze murmured.

Just then, Yue Mian suddenly frowned and looked at Bai Ze.

"Interesting. Come and see this," Bai Ze said, sensing something as well.

With a wave of his hand, a patch of golden flames spread out before them.

Within the flames appeared the figure of Han Li, surrounded by swirling, radiant true spirit projections.

"A mere human, yet bearing so many true spirit bloodlines, including Old Yuan's and mine?" Yue Mian said, somewhat surprised.

"Not only that, but he also requested the bloodlines of Taowu and Zhu Yan's descendants from me earlier," Bai Ze said with a wry smile.

As he spoke, a small white jade bottle flew out from Han Li within the flames, dissolving directly in the golden blaze. Two bean-sized drops of blood shot out, turning into a mist of blood in midair that merged into his charred body.

With the two true spirit bloodlines entering his body, Han Li's Awakening Twelve Transformations technique activated on its own, emitting bursts of crimson light. His body involuntarily expanded and changed.

At one moment, he transformed into a white-headed, red-footed fanged giant ape; at another, into a long-tailed, winged striped giant tiger. His aura fluctuated wildly, appearing highly unstable.

"At this rate, this kid might explode and die," Yue Mian leaned forward slightly, frowning.

"That's where the brilliance lies," Bai Ze said with a smile.

No sooner had he spoken than the colorful true spirit projections swirling around Han Li flew back one by one, re-entering his body. A dazzling five-colored light immediately radiated from him.

Then, Han Li's form shifted even faster, manifesting all twelve true spirit forms in succession.

Yet as his form continued to change, his aura gradually stabilized. Even his charred, coal-like flesh began to restore itself, like withered trees blooming in spring, as a layer of red light spread over him.

"How can this be?" Yue Mian exclaimed in astonishment.

"He must have cultivated a technique specifically for refining true spirit blood essence—quite remarkable. Judging by his aura, he was likely only missing two true spirit bloodlines, and now he has completed them," Bai Ze said admiringly.

"And this man..." Yue Mian's brow furrowed as he asked.

"I've investigated him. He's not our enemy; rather, he's someone who will give the Heavenly Court a headache," Bai Ze laughed.

"So you allowed him to complete his bloodline fusion within the barbarian flames, deliberately helping him refine his blood and body?" Yue Mian asked, his brow slightly creased.

"Not only that, but the method he uses to refine bloodlines might be something we can learn from. I permitted him to do this intentionally, to show the sixteen barbarian tribes. How much they can gain from it depends on their own abilities," Bai Ze shook his head gently and spoke slowly.

"You've put a lot of thought into this... I find this kid impressive too, but I'm not optimistic about him. He's just a human; the idea of entering the Barbarian Sacred Hall is somewhat absurd. He can't possibly open that door," Yue Mian said.

"I'm not so sure. His request earlier wasn't born of overreaching fantasy. His bloodline reacted with the Sacred Hall's door. Otherwise, given his temperament, he wouldn't have spoken so rashly," Bai Ze shook his head in disagreement.

As soon as he finished speaking, Yue Mian let out a surprised "Eh," his tone full of astonishment.

Han Li suddenly let out a fierce roar. His entire body erupted with black light, transforming into a three-headed, six-armed demonic form. He strode through the golden flames and charged toward the second giant door in the center.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

In stark contrast to Liu Le'er and the others, who had passed through the door in an instant, Han Li's body slammed into the giant door but did not go through. Instead, he was repelled, producing thunderous booms.

"After all, he's only human. The Barbarian Sacred Hall does not recognize his bloodline," Yue Mian observed.

"It all depends on his own fortune and destiny," Bai Ze said, his expression turning serious. With a wave of his hand, the golden flames on the ground vanished.

Within the Asura Blood Gate's space, on the square with eight stone pillars, the onlookers could no longer sneer at Han Li's back. After all, they themselves might not have been able to achieve what he had.

But having watched the spectacle to this point, they felt it had reached its limit. No matter how hard Han Li tried, he would never open that giant door. So they ceased paying attention, closed their eyes, and sat cross-legged, focusing on cultivation.

"What a pity, Brother Han..." Hu San murmured as he also sat down cross-legged.

But just then, a sudden change occurred.

From within the golden flames, Han Li's body emitted a multicolored light once more. Twelve true spirit projections flew out, landing one by one on the bronze giant door, directly merging into it.

The originally rough lines on the bronze door lit up one after another, emitting a strange, primeval barbarian aura.

"Ah..."

With a fierce roar, Han Li's body slammed into the door. His six enormous arms pressed against it simultaneously, pushing inward with all his might.

"Boom! Boom, boom..."

A heavy sound resonated from the giant door. The seemingly immovable bronze door actually shifted inward slightly, revealing a crack from which a dense mist of blood surged.

A flash of joy crossed Han Li's eyes. His body rapidly shrank back to human form, and in a flicker, he slipped through the crack into the door.

With a thunderous "boom," the heavy door closed again, and Han Li's figure had vanished.

"He... he actually got in..." the Qing Ape Clan Chief exclaimed.

"He got in! That human got in!" the others cried out in astonishment.
