Chapter 1385: The Great Dao Returns to One

凡人修仙之仙界篇 · 第一千三百八十五章 大道归一

“All three thousand great daos are actually within this Vial of the Heavens…”

With a thought from Han Li, his consciousness, reduced to a speck of dust, began to roam within the small vial’s world.

It was then that he realized the various colored light clusters around him were not all motionless; they floated and rotated along their own trajectories, and this state of individual movement was the constant principle of the cycle of heaven.

After a brief flight, Han Li grew somewhat anxious—how could he possibly refine all three thousand great daos?

As he pondered, Han Li suddenly sensed that clusters of multicolored light were flickering in a particular rhythm, as if greeting him.

Moving forward, he found that some light clusters were akin to his own daos, corresponding to the laws of metal, wood, water, fire, earth, and lightning.

The closer he got to the center of the vial’s space, the fewer law clusters there were, but the denser the law power within them became. At the very center, Han Li saw a massive chaotic cloud cluster.

Around it floated three largest light clusters, colored gold, silver, and dark red respectively.

The law aura emanating from the chaotic cloud cluster was identical to that of the chaotic vortex outside—it was the Chaotic Law. The three colored clusters were the laws of Time, Space, and Reincarnation.

Among them, the Time Law was most intimate with Han Li. As soon as he approached, strands of Time Law power separated from it and surged into his consciousness.

Han Li’s mustard-seed body, formed from his consciousness, felt filled with power. When he turned his gaze to the surroundings, the scene before him changed.

He saw that from the Chaotic Law extended countless faint threads, connecting all the light clusters of the three thousand daos into an enormous interconnected network.

Connected to the Time Law, Han Li seemed to become part of this network, his body glowing ever brighter.

Outside, the light emerging from the reincarnation vortex grew stronger, pressing the Six Paths Reincarnation Disk back continuously.

As more and more light penetrated the disk, the entire reincarnation disk grew brighter, seemingly unable to bear the power bred within the Chaotic Law.

“Fellow Daoist Shi, it’s up to you,” said the Reincarnation Palace Master, gritting his teeth as he urged the reincarnation disk with both hands.

The Demon Lord, already with hand seals ready, had prepared himself.

Just then, the Reincarnation Palace Master’s hand seals suddenly changed. At the center of the Six Paths Reincarnation Disk, a flash of light opened a void, and the chaotic light pillar that filled the entire disk instantly condensed into one point and shot down.

The light pillar, condensed by the reincarnation disk, was not only more solid in radiance but also seemed more powerful.

Seeing this, the Demon Lord flew straight toward the light pillar. Just before a head-on collision, he suddenly parted his hands.

In the void before him, circles of silver spatial runes surged forth, forming a colossal spatial gate that directly absorbed the suddenly attacking chaotic light pillar.

In the next instant, another spatial gate appeared in the void beside Gu Huo Jin, from which light burst forth. A white light pillar, far more solid than before, shot out and struck him directly.

“Haha… haha…”

Gu Huo Jin’s figure was submerged in the dazzling white light, invisible, but amidst it came bursts of wild laughter.

“Not good. He’s using our attacks to accelerate his absorption of the Chaotic Law. Once his Chaotic Law is perfected and he becomes a Chaotic Dao Ancestor, he can fully control this chaotic vortex. Then we truly won’t be able to defeat him,” the Reincarnation Palace Master frowned, immediately sensing the danger.

With that, he immediately re-manipulated the Six Paths Reincarnation Disk, once again forcibly resisting the pressure of the chaotic light pillar.

The Demon Lord withdrew and glanced at Han Li, a flicker of shock in his eyes.

He quickly changed his hand seals, forming a spatial barrier to isolate Han Li, who sat cross-legged in midair, preventing the aura emanating from him from leaking out and being detected by Gu Huo Jin.

Meanwhile, inside the small vial’s space.

Han Li’s consciousness had transformed into a massive white light, within which seemed to echo Han Li’s voice, murmuring softly:

“At the beginning of the Heavenly Dao, the source of all laws was born. The three thousand great daos have never existed in isolation. As the saying goes, solitary yang does not grow, solitary yin does not flourish. All things in heaven and earth and all laws complement each other—this is the Heavenly Dao.”

In an instant, within the entire small vial’s space, multicolored light surged simultaneously, tumbling in midair. All law clusters began to converge toward the center.

First, the densely packed three thousand laws, according to their elemental affiliations, each returned to their fundamental laws. Then the five fundamental laws gathered toward the three supreme laws. Finally, all laws merged into one, integrating into that cluster of Chaotic Law.

Throughout the small vial’s space, a thunderclap rumbled. The chaotic law cloud cluster turned dark green and began to churn violently.

At almost the same moment, Han Li suddenly opened his eyes and stood up from the ground.

A slight ripple spread from his body, directly shattering the barrier set by the Demon Lord into pieces.

His eyes reflected a five-colored radiance. He raised his hands to the sky, and the Vial of the Heavens flew up from his palm, hovering high in the air.

Han Li formed an ancient hand seal and murmured softly:

“The Great Dao returns to one, gather all things.”

In the next instant, the small vial flashed with strange light. The various patterns inscribed on it lit up one after another. Green light flickered at the vial’s mouth, and clusters of dark green cloud surged out, forming a dark green vortex tens of thousands of miles in diameter above the small opening.

Within the vortex, clouds churned, as if lightning flashed inside, accompanied by continuous rumbling sounds.

“This is…” the Demon Lord’s expression changed slightly.

“The turning point has come,” the Reincarnation Palace Master’s eyes flashed with joy, and he laughed heartily.

With a loud “boom”!

Within that dark green vortex, lightning flashed frequently. Enormous lightning whips extended from it, lashing out in all directions, shattering the surrounding void inch by inch.

The chaotic vortex, far larger in area and opposite to it, seemed to resonate. Light flickered at its center, and its rotation and expansion speed instantly increased tenfold.

Gu Huo Jin’s gaze fell on the dark green vortex, a look of disbelief flashing in his eyes.

Now connected to the vortex manifested by the Chaotic Law, his perception of heaven and earth was entirely different from before. Naturally, he could detect the unusual nature of the dark green vortex.

He pressed his hands together before him, then made a grasping motion as if holding something, and suddenly slashed forward.

A gust of wind swept through the void. From the chaotic vortex, tens of thousands of chaotic light pillars condensed into enormous light blades that connected heaven and earth, slashing down toward the dark green vortex.

“Well done!” Han Li shouted in anger.

He thrust his hands toward the sky, and countless golden lights shot from his palms, landing on the small vial.

The dark green vortex at the vial’s mouth instantly blazed with light, as if transforming into a sky-devouring beast, actively meeting those ten thousand light blades.

When they collided, there was no expected earth-shattering roar, nor intense shockwaves.

Those light blades sank into the vortex like a knife cutting through tofu, without any obstruction.

But when they had cut halfway, the dark green vortex began to spin rapidly. The light blades were twisted by a tremendous force, winding together like hemp ropes, forming a straight bridge connecting the two vortices.

As soon as this bridge was established, the two massive vortices seemed like thunder meeting fire, both roaring with thunder and churning incessantly.

From the chaotic vortex, streams of chaotic cloud qi spiraled down along the light pillar. In response, wisps of green mist rose from the dark green vortex, coiling upward like jade-green dragons.

The two streams of cloud qi collided, intertwining like curling smoke, momentarily indistinguishable from each other.

But soon, the chaotic vortex above suddenly grew in momentum, emitting a great sound like a tidal surge. Its rotation accelerated abruptly, stirring the shattered heaven and earth into chaos.

The dark green vortex, vastly inferior in area and apparently weaker in power, was churned by this. Rolling dark green clouds continuously rose and surged into the chaotic vortex.

“Not good. The chaotic vortex has already devoured almost all the spiritual energy of the entire Middle Earth Immortal Domain, and spiritual energy from other immortal domains is being drawn in. It has grown. The power of the Vial of the Heavens seems insufficient…” the Reincarnation Palace Master saw the problem at once, worried.

“Please, both of you, lend me your strength,” Han Li called out from high above.

His body had completely turned into a rich golden color. The power of the Time Law surged out, driving all the time power in the surrounding heaven and earth, continuously pouring into the small vial.

The Reincarnation Palace Master and the Demon Lord exchanged glances. Without much hesitation, they both began to channel their law power into the Vial of the Heavens.

In this vast expanse, only fragments of immortal domains remained, scattered in the void like lost realms. Three enormous pillars of light—gold, silver, and red—rose from Han Li and the other two, converging at a single point in a triadic formation.

Under the convergence of these three supreme law powers, the small Vial of the Heavens trembled violently. Runic light flashed continuously, and the vial’s body rapidly expanded, eventually becoming a dark green bottle the size of a pagoda.

Light shone at the vial’s mouth. Clusters of light, formed from various law powers, shot out. Guided by a blurry figure, they flew toward the high sky.

“Senior Bottle Spirit…” Han Li murmured upon seeing the figure.

As soon as he spoke, under the Bottle Spirit’s guidance, all the law-formed light clusters began to link end to end, merging with each other, until they emitted a seven-colored radiance and transformed into a resplendent ribbon.

Upon that ribbon, an unprecedented yet somewhat familiar contradictory aura spread out.
