Chapter 732: The Dark Prison
凡人修仙之仙界篇 · 第七百三十二章 幽牢
Yin Gua seemed quite satisfied with the changes in expression on Han Li and the others' faces, a hint of contentment appearing on his own as he slowly withdrew his hand.
"Yin Gua, your Baleful Thunder Laws grow ever more profound. Admirable!" You Luo, watching from the side, her eyes brightening slightly, clapped her hands in praise.
"Merely the Baleful Thunder Laws; no fewer than ten in the Grey Realm have mastered them. How could they compare to your innate laws?" Yin Gua's eyes flickered with a trace of hidden jealousy, but he spoke with a smile.
Upon hearing this, You Luo giggled.
This woman's appearance was not originally considered stunning, but when she laughed, she radiated a startling beauty, as if a hundred flowers were blooming at once.
Yin Gua frowned slightly, a flash of grimness passing through his eyes, but he maintained his smile.
"Thank you for the compliment, Yin Gua. By the way, what do you plan to do with these people?" You Luo laughed a few times, then quickly withdrew her smile and asked seriously.
"A few clowns, with such meager cultivation daring to infiltrate修罗 City, surely they have some scheme. Naturally, we'll first lock them up, then interrogate them thoroughly to see what their intentions are." Yin Gua glanced at Han Li and the others and said.
"These people are of mixed origins—humans, demons, and even the Void Harmony Clan of our Grey Realm. It's indeed hard to guess their purpose. They should be properly interrogated. Speaking of which, I am quite skilled in torture and interrogation. How about I help you question one?" You Luo smiled faintly, raised a jade finger, and pointed at Han Li.
Han Li, on the ground, was slightly startled at this sight.
Hearing this, Yin Gua's smile slowly faded. He stared quietly at You Luo and said nothing.
"In that case, I'll show my modest skills." You Luo raised her hand and waved, sending a dark red light from her sleeve that swept toward Han Li.
But at that moment, above Han Li, the void flickered, and a black lightning bolt shot out, striking the dark red light.
The dark red light instantly burst and scattered.
Yin Gua slowly lowered his raised arm, a black electric spark still flickering at his fingertip.
"What are you doing?" You Luo said, a look of surprise on her face.
"You Luo, don't think that just because the Domain Lord favors you, you can act recklessly! These people were captured in the Luosheng District. According to the rules, they are naturally for me to handle. I don't need your meddling!" Yin Gua's expression suddenly changed, and he said coldly.
"Yin Gua, you exaggerate. How would I dare to meddle in your affairs? Since you don't want my help, so be it. However, the intrusion of foreign enemies into the Luosheng District is a major matter that must be reported to the Domain Lord immediately." You Luo said calmly, seemingly not at all angry.
"The Domain Lord is currently presiding over the Three Domain Alliance meeting. I will handle such a trivial matter myself. Once the interrogation yields results, I will personally go and report to him." Yin Gua's expression changed slightly, and he quickly said.
"Even so, since I have witnessed this matter, I should still inform the Domain Lord, lest you, Lord Yin Gua, forget due to your many affairs." You Luo said with a faint smile.
"You Luo, let's speak plainly. What exactly do you want?" Yin Gua stared hard at You Luo, the anger on his face receding like the tide, and he said slowly.
"These people are not weak in cultivation, and their laws are even more precious—rare commodities. Since I also contributed to their capture, you shouldn't think of monopolizing this benefit." You Luo chuckled and said.
"Speak your mind directly." Yin Gua's expression shifted, and after a moment of silence, he said.
"You can have the people, but the treasures on them belong to me." You Luo immediately said.
"Most of these people come from the True Immortal Realm. The items on them are indeed only usable by you in all of修罗 City. Fine, I agree to this." Yin Gua raised an eyebrow, then quickly nodded in agreement.
You Luo said no more. She raised her hand and waved, sending a dark red light shooting out, swiftly sweeping over the five of Han Li, unceremoniously taking away their storage artifacts and the immortal artifacts that had fallen beside them.
Han Li had earlier offered his nine Azure Bamboo Cloudswarm Swords to fight Yin Gua, who had instantly sealed his immortal spiritual power. The nine swords, losing their support, had fallen to the ground and were now taken by You Luo.
Seeing this, Han Li's face twitched, and he gritted his teeth, lowering his head.
"Fine treasures." You Luo looked at the pile of immortal artifacts suspended before her, lingering a moment longer on Shi Kongkong's silver pipa and the nine Azure Bamboo Cloudswarm Swords, praised, then flipped her hand and stored them away.
"This matter is settled. I shall take my leave." The woman nodded to Yin Gua, turned, and flew into the distance, soon disappearing from sight.
"Greedy bitch..." Yin Gua watched You Luo leave, a look of indescribable hatred rising on his face, and he spat out the words through clenched teeth.
"Take them all to the Dark Prison." He took a deep breath, suppressing the hatred in his eyes, turned to look at Han Li and the others, snorted, then vanished without a trace.
The two horned aliens stepped forward, lifted Han Li and the others from the ground, waved their hands to remove the chains on them, but then produced a set of black shackles to put on the five.
These shackles only bound their upper bodies; their lower bodies could still move.
But Han Li and the others were now completely weak, barely able to stand, let alone escape.
The two horned aliens then escorted Han Li and the five others, soon leaving the ring-shaped building.
A beast-drawn cart was waiting ahead, with a cage several zhang in size behind it—a prison cart.
The two horned aliens waved their hands, throwing Han Li and the five into the cage, then drove the cart forward.
In the prison cart, Han Li and the five looked at each other, all silent.
The cart moved quite fast. Half a day later, they arrived before a black building in the Luosheng District.
This building occupied a large area, square in shape, with countless black beads embedded in its walls, emitting specks of black light like countless stars twinkling, dazzling to the eye.
A horned alien reached out, grabbed Han Li and the five from the cart one by one, and threw them heavily to the ground.
The seal Yin Gua had placed on Han Li and the others was unknown; it not only sealed their immortal spiritual power but also suppressed their physical strength, making their bodies unusually fragile.
Han Li's body was originally extremely tough, and even with the seal weakening it, his flesh was still relatively resilient, so he didn't feel much.
Hu San and the others, thrown heavily, couldn't help but grunt.
Just then, a gray-clad man walked out of the black building.
This man was tall, with three large fleshy lumps on his forehead, giving his features a somewhat ferocious look. Black mist swirled beneath him, marking him as a Nether Clan member.
The gray-clad man's aura was also quite formidable, reaching the Tai Yi stage. Behind him followed two gray-armored aliens, who looked like two Nether Slave guards, also fierce in expression, holding leather whips covered in barbs.
"Eh! True Immortal Realm cultivators! Where did you catch them?" The gray-clad man approached, looked Han Li and the others over a couple of times, then suddenly showed a look of surprise.
"These are a few aliens personally captured by Lord Yin Gua. Lock them in the lowest level of the Dark Prison." A horned alien spoke.
"Captured personally by Lord Yin Gua..." The gray-clad man's face showed a flicker of surprise upon hearing this.
"These people are designated for use by Lord Yin Gua, who specifically instructed they be carefully guarded." The horned alien added.
"Since it's Lord Yin Gua's order, I understand what to do." The gray-clad man said seriously.
"Then we leave these people to you." The two horned aliens glanced at Han Li and the others, gave another instruction to the gray-clad man, then turned into two black streaks shooting into the distance.
"Five little brats, follow me in!" The gray-clad man sized up Han Li and the five with ill intent, grinned fiercely, and walked toward the black building ahead.
Han Li and the others had no choice but to follow, the two gray-armored guards bringing up the rear.
The group soon entered the black building, which was quite spacious, with a half-zhang-high stone platform in the center.
Around the stone platform stood eight white stone pillars, inscribed with countless curved runes, while the platform itself was etched with arrays of lines, forming a black formation—a teleportation array.
"Get on." The gray-clad man stepped onto the platform first and said flatly.
Han Li and the five climbed the steps beside them and mounted the platform.
Bai Liyan, walking at the rear, was a bit slow. A guard beside him raised his arm, and the leather whip turned into a blur.
"Hurry up!" With a sharp crack, the black whip struck Bai Liyan hard.
Bai Liyan's back was torn open, and he was sent flying, crashing heavily onto the stone platform.
The gray-clad man ignored all this, made a hand seal and pointed, causing the formation on the platform to flare with black light and hum.
The figures of the group flickered and vanished from the formation.
...
Han Li's vision blurred, countless scenes flashing by. After a while, his sight returned to normal, and he found himself in a dark hall.
The baleful aura here was thick, and the air was filled with a chill that seeped into Han Li and the others' bodies like needles.
Even Han Li, with the toughest body, shivered slightly.
"Why aren't you moving? What are you dawdling for?" The gray-clad man saw their reactions, sneered coldly, and walked out of the hall.
Han Li and the others followed. Bai Liyan silently got up from the ground and trailed behind the group.
Exiting the hall, a long corridor stretched ahead, lined with prison cells, most of which were empty.
The corridor stretched endlessly ahead, with no telling how many cells there were.
From time to time, heart-wrenching screams came from ahead, sending chills down one's spine.
"So this is the so-called Dark Prison?" Han Li glanced at the cells beside him and suddenly asked.
The gray-clad man stopped abruptly, turned to look at Han Li, a fierce glint in his eyes, and slowly walked over.
"Here, you dare to speak freely? It seems you haven't grasped the situation, boy." The gray-clad man flipped his hand, and a black leather whip covered in barbs appeared, twice as large as those of the previous guards, and even more menacing.
"I only asked a question. Is it forbidden to speak in this Dark Prison?" Han Li said calmly.
