Chapter 153 Healing

Heaven-Shaker · 第153章 疗伤

The entire stone cave was a hundred zhang in size, and a faint fishy smell drifted through it. Yang Tian's gaze swept around for a while before he found a pile of rather dry grass, where he laid the woman down.

The stunningly beautiful woman glanced at Yang Tian. She tilted her head slightly, and her dreamlike face exuded an air of keeping others at a distance, yet beneath this expression was a barely noticeable tension.

She hadn't expected that her bloodline would undergo a mutation today, and on top of that, she had suffered severe injuries. Her dantian felt as dry as a withered well, unable to accumulate energy.

Yang Tian rubbed his hands together, his gaze darting around. Only then did he notice the wounds all over the woman's body, some of which were even gruesome.

Soon, blood flowed onto the cave floor. The stunning woman's face grew paler, and the blood was almost congealing into clots. Several terrifying wounds were rapidly gushing blood.

"Uncle Xiao, what should I do?" Yang Tian's consciousness appeared within the Ancestral Dragon Ring, looking at Yang Xiao, who was sitting cross-legged with his legs crossed, and asked.

"Figure it out yourself. Don't you need healing pills to treat injuries? Don't you have some on you?" Yang Xiao curled his lip, looking as if he wanted nothing to do with it.

"Uh..." Yang Tian clicked his tongue, a face full of black lines. "Those pills are far from enough; they're all junk pills. How about giving me some of the spiritual liquid you refined?"

"No... it's not ready yet. Besides, that spiritual liquid would be useless for her injuries." Shaking his head like a rattle-drum, Yang Xiao maintained his hands-off attitude.

"This..." Scratching his head, Yang Tian shook his head helplessly. He had no idea what Yang Xiao was up to. How could the spiritual liquid refined from the Water of Life possibly not heal the woman's injuries?

Inside the cave, blood was splattering. The stunning woman bit her red lips tightly, a stubborn look in her eyes, like a proud little peacock that would rather die than ask for help.

"Um... you need treatment, or if the injuries drag on too long, it'll be trouble. You'll die." Yang Tian cautiously approached, not daring to provoke her, unsure if she still had any lethal moves.

"Don't come any closer, or I'll kill you!" Sensing Yang Tian's footsteps drawing near, a hint of panic flashed in the woman's eyes as she hastily scolded.

"Don't be nervous, I mean no harm. I just want to give you some healing pills. Really, no ill intent." Hearing this, Yang Tian quickly waved his hands. He directly pulled out some bottles and jars and placed them in front of the woman. Then he stepped back a few paces, looking at her expectantly.

Glancing at the bottles below, the woman hesitated for a moment, then looked at Yang Tian, and then at the bleeding wounds on her body. She bit her lip and said softly, "Turn around."

"Oh... okay..." Sensing the woman's wariness, the corner of Yang Tian's mouth twitched involuntarily, but he quickly nodded and turned his back to her.

Her beautiful eyes fixed on Yang Tian. After a while, sensing that he showed no sign of turning around, she said sternly, "If you dare to turn your head, I'll kill you! Don't doubt my words."

"I won't peek. Just go ahead and treat yourself." Yang Tian's face was full of black lines as he muttered, "What a troublesome woman..."

The woman was very vigilant. She continued to observe Yang Tian for a while, then finally nodded. Her jade-like hand reached for the jade bottle, and as she moved slightly, a pained expression surged across her stunning face.

Biting back the pain, the stunning woman extended her jade finger and slowly uncapped the jade bottle. Her eyes glanced at the coarse pills inside, and her delicate brows furrowed slightly. But after a glance at Yang Tian, her face instantly relaxed.

Although these pills were not even worth mentioning in the woman's eyes, for a martial artist to have such pills was already considered quite affluent.

The pills Yang Tian took out were all tier-three or tier-four, the most precious healing pills he had—things that even someone at the Profound Passage realm might not be able to obtain.

The woman held a jar of ointment in her hand, pushed up the sleeve of her arm, and looked at the deep gash, her pearly teeth biting her red lips.

She dabbed a bit of the translucent ointment with her finger. The moment the ointment touched the wound, her body involuntarily trembled, and the pain on her face intensified.

That hideous wound was a full twenty inches long. After applying just a little ointment, a sheen of fragrant sweat broke out on her face. Her wounds were too terrifying; with just a few movements, the blood flow increased again.

After a few more attempts, the stunning woman's strength was completely drained, and the jade bottle in her hand fell to the ground.

"Smack..." A collision sound rang out, and a few crack lines appeared on the jade bottle, but the material was tough and it didn't shatter completely.

"What's wrong?" Yang Tian quickly turned his head, his gaze instantly falling on that terrifying wound. One of her jade-like arms was nearly severed, and blood was gushing out.

"Hiss..." Yang Tian couldn't help but suck in a breath of cold air, thinking to himself that this woman was incredibly lucky. Though a severed arm could be reattached, the pills required for that were too terrifying.

"Who told you to turn around?" Looking at Yang Tian, the woman's eyes suddenly turned cold. Mustering all her strength, she directly scolded him.

Hearing this, Yang Tian's expression turned somewhat unpleasant, and a feeling of grievance welled up inside him. He clenched his fist and said, "I went through all the trouble to save you, didn't do anything to you, and even gave you pills. Don't you go blaming me for nothing."

"You..." Yang Tian's retort made the woman's expression unnatural, but she was left speechless. This woman seemed very proud; she simply turned her head away, a stubborn look in her eyes.

After a moment of silence, Yang Tian looked at the blood continuously flowing from the woman's body. He could clearly sense her life force diminishing. If not treated in time, she would die.

Yang Tian shook his head slightly. This woman was too proud—she would rather die than ask me for help...

Yang Tian clicked his tongue and couldn't help saying, "Hey... if you don't treat these wounds, it's going to be trouble."

After three breaths, Yang Tian continued, "If you die here, it's none of my business."

"..."

After a while longer, Yang Tian rubbed his hands together, carefully walked over, and craned his neck. Seeing that the woman had fainted, the corner of his mouth twitched violently.

"Ahem... well... I'm just saving you... I have no designs on you..." Yang Tian picked up the jade bottle from the ground, muttered to himself, and smeared the ointment on his hands.

His fingers touched the woman's arm bit by bit. When Yang Tian sensed that she didn't react, his mind relaxed, and he quickly treated the wound on her arm.

Looking at the treated wound, which had now stopped bleeding, Yang Tian pursed his lips and moved his gaze to the remaining areas.

"Ahem... ahem... I'm just saving someone... What's there to be afraid of?" His eyes swept over the woman's delicate body. Yang Tian rubbed his hands together and muttered in his heart.

"Isn't it just saving someone? Why do I feel more tired than after a big battle?" After working for a while, Yang Tian wiped the sweat from his face, licked the corner of his mouth, and fixed his gaze on the last wound.

He glanced at the still-sleeping woman, steadied his mind, and then looked at the final wound. He frowned immediately—the location of the wound was really not the right place.
