Chapter 029: Curse

获得主角能力的我只想过平凡生活 · 第029章 诅咒

As soon as Wang Bo saw the five-colored dragon flying toward him, he thought, these guys really are relentless, and decided to give it a hard hit.

In an instant, a Gungnir appeared in his hand. He activated it without hesitation and aimed at the five-colored dragon.

“Pierce it, Gungnir.”

The next second, he hurled Gungnir with all his might.

Whoosh!

When Wang Bo produced Gungnir, the five-colored dragon felt its whole body go numb and its breath quicken. When it realized it was locked onto by a weapon, its blood boiled.

So the five-colored dragon instinctively flapped its wings, forcibly changing direction.

It traced a Z-shaped trajectory in midair, trying to evade Gungnir.

But Gungnir had already locked onto the five-colored dragon. No matter how erratic its flight path, Gungnir still pursued.

Feeling the divine spear closing in from behind, the five-colored dragon panicked, flapping its wings madly, breaking the sound barrier in an instant, and terrifying sonic booms echoed through the void.

White sonic boom clouds spread out layer by layer, a spectacular sight.

But no matter how fast the five-colored dragon was, it was no faster than Gungnir.

Like a meteor piercing the sun, Gungnir caught up with the five-colored giant dragon in an instant and, amid its despairing gaze, pierced through its chest.

Its scales, hard enough to be nearly indestructible, were so fragile before Gungnir.

Like plastic foam, they broke at a touch.

Gungnir pierced the five-colored dragon's heart, delivering a fatal blow.

The five-colored dragon's radiant eyes quickly dimmed, its brilliant magic extinguished, and with a thunderous crash, it smashed through the ceiling of a martial arts hall, crashing onto the grand stage watched by thousands, shattering it to pieces.

In an instant, the entire battlefield fell silent.

Whether it was the golden dragon fighting Margaret or the wise dragons holding off Hela, all involuntarily looked toward where the five-colored dragon had fallen.

They hadn't expected the five-colored dragon to fall.

A legendary dragon, only one step away from igniting divine fire, entering myth, and becoming a member of the Pantheon, had fallen in an unknown world.

It was simply unbelievable.

Who was that dragon slayer? Was he a god?

Hela watched the fallen five-colored dragon and clicked her tongue. What a pity. That dragon's strength was considerable, not far from her own.

Hela had originally wanted to subdue it, turn it into her enforcer, and later help it advance further, to be useful when she turned against Wang Bo.

So when she fought the five-colored dragon, she didn't kill it immediately but instead tried to pressure it into submission bit by bit.

But she hadn't expected that this creature would overestimate itself and challenge Wang Bo, nor that Wang Bo would actually kill it.

What a twist of fate.

The wise dragons looked at the dead five-colored dragon as if the sky had fallen. The metallic dragon raised its head to look at Wang Bo, two streams of bloody tears flowing from its eyes. “Dragon slayer, you have killed the son of the Dragon God. The Dragon God will not forgive you.”

Dragon God? Wang Bo couldn't care less about any Dragon God. He had fought gods before. If the Dragon God really wanted revenge, let him come.

“Who killed my son!”

Suddenly, a grand voice came through the spatial rift.

Wang Bo's expression changed. He saw the spatial rift, which had been nearly repaired, suddenly tremble. A huge claw extended from the narrow rift.

It was a dragon claw brimming with immense power, covered in jewel-like scales, each scale shimmering with endless light. Wang Bo saw one wondrous magic after another on the scales.

Wang Bo had studied quite a bit of magic—with Hela, with the Ancient One, and with Lady Gremory.

Combining the strengths of many, Wang Bo was, in a sense, a great mage.

But when he saw the magic inscribed on the dragon scales, he felt his own insignificance.

As if, before magic, he was still just a high school student just starting his studies.

The magic on the scales was astonishingly powerful; Wang Bo could only comprehend a tenth of it.

But that tenth alone opened his eyes wide.

“Eternal Sun,” “Steel Body,” “Divine Defense,” “Endless Light,” “Time Split,” “All Things Rebound”…

One powerful magic after another unfolded before Wang Bo, leaving him in awe.

But even more terrifying was that this dragon claw, covered in scales, was tearing open the spatial rift. The rift, which had been nearly repaired, was gradually expanding under this force.

Wang Bo's heart pounded violently.

He felt he had provoked a very fearsome existence.

So Wang Bo instinctively donned his divine robe, summoned his Stand, gripped Gungnir, and unleashed the most peak attack of his life with all his strength.

“Galactic Explosion!”

“Gungnir!”

“Light-Speed Fist!”

“Stand Attack!”

In less than a second, Wang Bo launched tens of millions of attacks, striking the dragon claw.

Under the assault, layer after layer of defensive magic arrays unfolded on the claw, but were torn to shreds by Wang Bo's attacks. The overwhelming barrage landed fully on the claw.

The owner of the claw let out a roar, but the claw instinctively retracted.

“Now,” Wang Bo urged the cheat device to repair the spatial rift as quickly as possible. He must not let that dragon cross over; it was an extremely fearsome dragon.

The spatial rift shrank at an astonishing speed.

Fortunately, the owner of the claw did not stop it but instead allowed the rift to be repaired, whether out of fear or restraint.

“I have memorized your aura,” the voice of the claw's owner came from the other world as the rift was about to disappear. “I curse you by the divine nature of the Dragon God: eternal damnation, endless calamity.”

The next second, a beam of light shot through and struck Wang Bo's body.

Wang Bo felt his brain explode in an instant, his eyes closed, and he fell unconscious.

After an unknown period of unconsciousness, Wang Bo finally woke up. Opening his eyes, he saw the mansion where he lived.

He tried to sit up but found himself extremely heavy.

As if he were wearing a thick suit of armor, even a small movement cost Wang Bo considerable effort. This feeling of weakness was something he had never experienced before.

Even when he was an ordinary person, he had never been this weak.

This discovery made Wang Bo's heart sink to the bottom.
