Chapter 012: The Magic Ship

获得主角能力的我只想过平凡生活 · 第012章 魔法船

Jack Sparrow stared blankly at the palm-sized magic ship, but he quickly recovered his composure. Having seen the world, he soon thought of a possibility.

Magic!

Since this ship was no less than the Black Pearl, it was highly likely that it had been enchanted.

"How should I use this ship?" he asked cautiously, taking it from Wang Bo's hands.

Wang Bo said casually, "Just throw it into the sea. It's a ship enchanted with magic, with an endless supply of fresh water and food, ensuring long voyages. Even if you get lost at sea, you won't have to worry about running out of provisions."

Jack Sparrow couldn't help but open his mouth wide. That was too exaggerated.

"Also, this ship has a simple intelligence, can understand the captain's orders, and can even sail automatically. One person can easily handle it."

"Besides, it has self-repair capabilities. Even if hit by cannonballs, it can recover to its undamaged state in a short time, so you don't have to worry about the ship being sunk by enemies."

"Of course, the ship can automatically attack enemies. At your command, all cannonballs will pour onto the enemy without needing gunners."

"More importantly, this ship is very fast, far outpacing other vessels, so you don't have to worry about being caught."

"Finally, if you accidentally fall into an enemy trap, surrounded by dozens of ships with no escape, you can take a last resort."

Jack Sparrow finally couldn't help asking, "What resort?"

"Just make the ship fly."

"Huh?" Jack Sparrow was dumbfounded.

Wang Bo said lightly, "This ship can fly. You can soar into the sky and escape the encirclement from above."

Jack Sparrow: ...

He now understood that this was not just a magic ship no less than the Black Pearl; it was a magic ship that could utterly crush the Black Pearl.

Compared to this magic ship, the Black Pearl wasn't even fit to carry its shoes.

Just the endless food and water alone outclassed all ships, and then the flying ability was enough to change the global navigation landscape.

This was like rubbing all other ships into the ground repeatedly.

Yet such a powerful magic ship was only described by the bar owner as 'no less than the Black Pearl.' Were all big shots this modest?

Jack Sparrow admitted that the Black Pearl was the best ship in his heart, but he also had to admit that this newly acquired magic ship truly far surpassed his Black Pearl.

"Are you really willing to entrust such a precious magic ship to me?" Jack Sparrow asked solemnly.

"Precious?"

Wang Bo was taken aback, then realized. He pulled out one magic ship after another from his four-dimensional pocket and placed them on the bar. "These magic ships have similar functions. Pick whichever you like, just say the word."

Jack Sparrow: "...The first one will do."

Only then did Wang Bo put away the other magic ships. These ships were built for him by shipwrights in Middle-earth.

Later, Wang Bo added several magical enhancements, turning them into magic ships.

In Wang Bo's eyes, these were just toys with no practical use, since he had no need for such magic ships.

Originally intended as collectibles, he never expected they would come in handy today.

This was an unexpected bonus.

"What do you want me to do?" After accepting the magic ship, Jack Sparrow asked Wang Bo about the purpose of hiring him.

Wang Bo thought for a moment. He actually had no real purpose; hiring Jack Sparrow was just talk. Now that Jack Sparrow asked, he was too embarrassed to say he had nothing in mind.

So he clapped his hands and said, "Didn't you just say you wanted to sell my rum far and wide in another world? I allow it. Now take a batch of rum and set off."

"That's it?" Jack Sparrow asked.

"And while you're at it, collect things from the other world for me. No ordinary pots and pans—only items with unique characteristics. Anything special will do."

Wang Bo casually gave an explanation.

Jack Sparrow narrowed his eyes. He seemed to understand: this guy wanted to be a middleman between two worlds, selling this world's goods in the other and bringing the other's goods here.

That would surely make a huge profit.

"Alright, I'll bring you unique items," Jack Sparrow agreed readily. He decided to agree first, then take the ship to find his Black Pearl.

As for when he would fulfill the request, that depended on his mood.

To be honest, he had no desire to go to that mysterious world full of monsters.

Then Jack Sparrow asked Wang Bo for a large supply of rum, intending to load it onto the ship. But he couldn't do it alone, so he thought for a moment and hired some dockworkers to move the rum to the pier.

However, the workers, upon hearing they had to enter Wang Bo's bar, turned pale and shook their heads.

"We're definitely not going into that bar."

"That's a man-eating bar."

"The owner of that bar is a monster."

Jack Sparrow was troubled. He hadn't expected the dockworkers to refuse. Was he really supposed to carry all that rum to the ship himself?

No way. There were hundreds of cases of rum, and with the distance between the port and the bar, he'd be working until dark and still not finish.

Helpless, Jack Sparrow returned to the bar, hoping Wang Bo could use magic to send the rum to the magic ship.

"No can do," Wang Bo refused without a second thought, smiling broadly. "Handle such trivial matters yourself. If you can't even do this, I doubt you can sell my rum in another world. You're not trying to fool me, are you?"

Jack Sparrow looked at Wang Bo's smile and suddenly understood: the guy didn't want to help because he wanted to see him struggle. What a nasty character.

"Alright, leave it to me," he said with a confident grin. "Such a small matter won't stump Jack Sparrow."
