Chapter 020: Sweeping Through

获得主角能力的我只想过平凡生活 · 第020章 横扫

This was a rather formidable woman.

The pirates of the Black Pearl had traveled far and wide and were quite arrogant, but when they saw this woman's sharp gaze, they still dared not meet her eyes and involuntarily looked away.

After the sexy beauty with pink long hair stood up, she took a drag on her cigarette, blew out a smoke ring, and said, "Everyone, surrender without a fight, or don't blame Tina for being rude."

The pirates naturally wouldn't just surrender like that.

One pirate, taking advantage of Tina's inattention, fired a sneak shot.

Bang!

The bullet that was fired hadn't even hit Tina before it was blocked by a black iron railing that suddenly appeared in front of her.

Tina turned her head to glance at the pirate who had fired the sneak shot, and her figure instantly vanished from where she stood.

The next second, she appeared in front of the pirate and kicked out.

Bang!

The pirate was instantly sent flying dozens of meters, smashing through a wall and being buried under the collapsing rubble.

At that moment, every single pirate present was scared out of their wits.

Kicking someone flying dozens of meters with one kick—wasn't that too exaggerated? Could humans really do such an incredible thing?

What kind of monster was this pink-haired woman?

Whoosh!

Just then, a golden light sped over from afar, transforming into a man with black curly hair, wearing a yellow-and-white striped suit, a ring of stubble on his face, a pair of sunglasses, and a tall, lean figure.

"Still not done here?" The man landed on the ground, looking around with a grin.

Tina said calmly, "Tina will have it done shortly, Admiral Kizaru."

Kizaru nodded, his gaze sweeping around, looking at the fearful pirates and the uneasy civilians, and sighed, "Although the World Government has received several reports that there seems to be another world in the sea, I never expected this rumor to be true."

Tina couldn't help but nod and said, "Tina never expected it either. If this news gets back, it will surely cause a worldwide sensation."

Kizaru asked, "What's the situation in this world?"

Tina said slowly, "Although this world also has pirates, most of them are insignificant pirates, very weak, no different from ordinary people. But we can't underestimate this world, because there's also a strange group of people, like the pirates before us."

As she spoke, moonlight spilled down.

The pirates surrounding Tina and Kizaru, under the moonlight, had their human skin evaporate and instantly turned into skeletons.

Kizaru nodded pretentiously, "All skeletons, huh? Scary, scary."

A pirate roared, "Let's fight them!"

Although their opponents were monsters, they were now immortal, also part of the monster crew.

The pirates charged forward with strange cries. With immortality, they feared nothing.

But the next second, Tina kicked out, her right leg suddenly turning pitch black, easily sweeping across seven or eight charging pirates, shattering their bones into pieces.

Every single one of them was directly blown apart by the kick, bone fragments flying everywhere.

Expressionless, Tina stomped her foot and moved quickly, in an instant blowing up all the pirates.

Although these people could turn into skeletons, they were still at the level of ordinary people, far too inferior to the Marines in both strength and speed.

However, the blown-up skeletons did not die immediately but kept reassembling.

It just took some time.

Kizaru couldn't help but say, "Even this can't kill them? This world is indeed not as simple as imagined. Scary."

Tina couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"Anyway, let's capture these immortal skeletons first." Kizaru gave the order.

Tina nodded, used her ability to create iron cages, and imprisoned all the skeletons inside.

Just then, a warship sped over from afar, docked at the port, and a large group of Marines rushed down.

"Captain Tina, Admiral Kizaru, we're late."

"Good work."

"No, not at all." The leading Marine shook his head repeatedly.

"Anyway, take these guys back first, then interrogate them slowly."

"Yes, Admiral."

The Marine waved his hand, called a few people, and moved away the iron cage Tina had created.

Tina said, "Admiral Kizaru, what should Tina do now?"

Kizaru looked around at the residents of Royal Port, who had been woken by the battle but dared not come out of their homes, only casting timid glances through their windows.

"We've just arrived in this world, after all. It's best to communicate with the governor of this world, and also get to know this world. What do you think?"

"Tina thinks it's fine. Leave this matter to Tina."

"Then I'll leave it to you."

Kizaru indicated that this was perfect; he could slack off a bit. Political communication was too troublesome.

But just then, Kizaru suddenly sensed something, his gaze shifting to a bar.

"What's wrong?" Tina knew well that Kizaru, as one of the three Marine Admirals, had strong Observation Haki. Such an expression meant he had detected something.

"No, nothing. Just encountered something very interesting."

Kizaru instantly vanished from Tina's sight.

...

Meanwhile, inside the bar.

Wang Bo calmly said to Snow White, "Don't worry. Actually, by the time you entered here, someone had already taken care of the pirates."

Snow White was startled and was about to ask when the bar door was pushed open.

A lecherous-looking man in strange clothes walked in from outside.

What surprised Snow White was that although the man was thin, he was astonishingly tall, as tall as two of her. She had never seen such a tall man before.

"Am I disturbing you?" The strangely dressed man came in and sat down on a stool.

"Not at all." Wang Bo nodded at Kizaru and said to Snow White, "The pirates outside were dealt with by these Marines. You can rest assured."

Snow White couldn't help but look at this tall but lecherous-looking man in surprise.

This man was a Marine?

Kizaru tilted his head and said, "Young man, you seem quite familiar with us."

Wang Bo was noncommittal, "Sort of. I've met people from your world before. But aren't you supposed to be suppressing pirates in the New World? What are you doing in this world?"

Kizaru grinned and said, "Compared to our New World, this place is the real New World."
