Chapter 011: Replica

获得主角能力的我只想过平凡生活 · 第011章 复制品

When everything had calmed down, Wang Bo looked around and saw that all the mountains and valleys within hundreds of kilometers had been erased, leaving only an endless plain.

The spaceship, the ruins, Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight—all had vanished.

Under Wang Bo's Solar Punch, they had been reduced to ashes.

Even Thanos was no longer there.

Wang Bo looked around and saw not a single living being.

Interestingly, Wang Bo did not hear a mission completion prompt, meaning that his punch had been earth-shattering, sweeping in all directions, annihilating everything in its path.

But it had somehow failed to kill Thanos.

Thanos had used some method unknown to Wang Bo to escape and quickly left Wang Bo's field of vision.

Wang Bo's gaze swept across the entire planet Titan, but he found no trace of Thanos. He clicked his tongue in annoyance, thinking that one punch would have killed Thanos, but instead Thanos had slipped away right under his nose.

As expected of the cosmic overlord—he was more formidable than Wang Bo had imagined.

Just the skill of disappearing silently from his sight showed Thanos's capability.

Even without the Infinity Stones, he was not easy to deal with.

However, Wang Bo was not too discouraged. As the saying goes, the monk may run away, but the temple remains. Though Thanos had fled, he was still in this universe.

He could just catch him next time.

After all, without the Space Stone, Thanos could not travel to other universes.

And if Thanos wanted to destroy this universe, he would have to show himself sooner or later. Then Wang Bo could kill him—but by then, it would be more troublesome.

Because Wang Bo knew very well that after this setback, Thanos would surely find a way to increase his power to counter Wang Bo.

And in the Marvel universe, there was only one most effective and fastest way to increase power.

The Infinity Stones.

Wang Bo believed that Thanos would definitely take the time to collect the Infinity Stones. Whether to fight Wang Bo or to destroy the universe, he would be determined to obtain them.

So the next time they met, Thanos might already have a few Infinity Stones in hand.

That would be much harder to deal with.

After some thought, Wang Bo came up with a good idea: to find the six Infinity Stones before Thanos, snap his fingers, and erase Thanos.

And luckily, Wang Bo knew better than anyone where the six Infinity Stones were.

Collecting the six Infinity Stones would not take much effort.

He raised his hand, drew a circle in the air, and opened a portal to Knowhere.

Titan was countless light-years away from Knowhere, a vast distance, but with the portal, Wang Bo returned to Knowhere almost instantly.

Then, Wang Bo found the Collector.

However, Wang Bo was surprised to find that the Collector's vault had exploded.

The once orderly vault was now a mess, littered with garbage and debris. The Collector himself was in a sorry state, sitting on a pile of ruins, drinking with a duck, seemingly finding solace in misery.

"You're back again, my friend," the Collector said, somewhat surprised when he saw Wang Bo.

Wang Bo glanced around, as if understanding something.

In the original plot, after Star-Lord and his crew brought the Power Stone to the Collector, his maid, unwilling to serve him any longer, touched the Power Stone, causing it to go berserk and destroy the Collector's vault.

But this time, Wang Bo intervened, touching the Power Stone and absorbing part of its power, thereby altering the plot.

He had thought the Power Stone would no longer go berserk.

Yet now it seemed that after he left, that maid had still awakened her rebellious spirit, wanting to use the Power Stone's power to resist the Collector.

As a result, the Power Stone went berserk and destroyed the Collector's vault.

"You really are unlucky," Wang Bo said with schadenfreude.

The Collector said in surprise, "You seem to know what happened."

Wang Bo nodded and said, "Your maid is missing, and I absorbed the Power Stone's power, so I'm familiar with it. It's not hard to guess what happened."

The Collector said, "So you came back specifically to mock me?"

Wang Bo shook his head and said, "No, I went to Titan earlier and almost killed Thanos, but he got away. I believe he'll collect the Infinity Stones to fight me, so I decided to get ahead of him."

The Collector squinted and said, "Thanos is no ordinary enemy. I'm surprised you could defeat him."

Wang Bo smiled, not dwelling on the matter, and asked, "So, where's the Power Stone? Don't tell me Star-Lord and his crew took it."

"No, the deal is done. The Power Stone is still with me. Do you want it?" The Collector took out a sphere from his pocket, which contained the Power Stone among the Infinity Stones.

"That's right. Name your price."

"This won't be cheap. Your items are nice, but far from matching an Infinity Stone," the Collector said slowly.

Wang Bo was well aware of this. His treasures were valuable, but together they couldn't compare to an Infinity Stone. Still, he wouldn't give up so easily.

"I know my treasures can't match an Infinity Stone, but I have a proposal."

"What proposal?"

"Lend me the Infinity Stone for research."

"Research?" The Collector was taken aback. "How do you intend to research it?"

Wang Bo took out the Replication Mirror from his fourth-dimensional pocket and said with a smile, "Give me the Infinity Stone, and I'll show you how I research it."

The Collector looked at the Replication Mirror, couldn't make much of it, but didn't mind broadening his horizons.

So he handed the Cosmic Orb to Wang Bo.

Wang Bo opened the Replication Mirror, then opened the Cosmic Orb, aiming it at the mirror.

A few seconds later, Wang Bo reached into the Replication Mirror, pulled out the Power Stone from within, and turned off the mirror.

The Collector's eyes went wide, staring in disbelief at the Power Stone in Wang Bo's hand.

"How is this possible? Unbelievable. This is truly unbelievable."

Even he found the Replication Mirror's ability mind-boggling.

Wang Bo toyed with the Power Stone in his hand. Although the Replication Mirror had been strengthened dozens of times, it still couldn't perfectly replicate the Power Stone.

After all, the level of the Infinity Stones was far too high.

The Replication Mirror couldn't perfectly replicate an Infinity Stone.

Wang Bo could feel that the replica in his hand, though also an Infinity Stone, was far inferior to the original, its power less than even one percent of the genuine article.
