Chapter 018: His Own Plans

获得主角能力的我只想过平凡生活 · 第018章 自有打算

Odin's strength had waned, and he could no longer maintain his peak form, but on the other hand, Wang Bo was not faring well either.

The reason was simple.

The Lightning Sun Fist was simply too powerful.

A hundred million punches in one second, each punch like a solar eruption.

To be honest, Wang Bo couldn't do it.

Although the solar true qi in his body was powerful, it could not sustain such consumption, so while Wang Bo threw a hundred million punches, the solar true qi on his fists kept diminishing.

The first few million punches were each terrifying.

But for the later punches, the power of the Sun Fist sharply declined to a frightening degree.

Yet Wang Bo still relied on his steel-like body to swing powerful fists, but their might was far less than that of the first few million punches.

After he finished throwing these hundred million punches, he was completely drained.

The power within his body, whether solar true qi or magic, was consumed entirely.

Only his small universe was still operating.

But his strength had fallen from its peak to a terrifying low. If Odin could still maintain his original power, Wang Bo would have had no choice but to flee.

Fortunately, Odin also couldn't hold on; he had exhausted all his strength, even worse than Wang Bo.

And Wang Bo could still use his small universe.

At this point, Wang Bo could easily tear Odin apart and openly defeat this old Skyfather-level powerhouse.

But Wang Bo did not do so.

He took out the Reality Stone from his fourth-dimensional pocket. Although it was a replica, it still possessed one percent of the original's power, with unfathomable might.

Wang Bo used the power of the Reality Stone, snapped his fingers, and erased the aftermath of their collision.

The terrifying storm of destruction vanished in an instant, as if it had never existed.

Asgard was preserved.

Seeing this, Odin couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. He realized that Wang Bo did not intend to destroy Asgard; if nothing unexpected happened, he would support Hela's ascension as the queen of Asgard.

Thus, Asgard would become Wang Bo's vassal.

To be honest, Odin was not satisfied with this outcome.

He was unwilling to let Asgard become anyone's vassal; he wanted Asgard to maintain its independence. But unfortunately, he could not achieve this.

Because just now, he had lost to Wang Bo.

As a loser, he could not influence Wang Bo's thoughts; he could only accept defeat and the consequences that followed.

After erasing the storm of destruction, Wang Bo brought Odin back to the main hall of Asgard's palace.

Hela was already seated on the throne, looking every bit the queen of Asgard.

The important ministers of Asgard in the hall, including Thor, Loki, the Warriors Three, and others, were all waiting for the outcome of the battle between Wang Bo and Odin.

Now seeing Wang Bo return with Odin, everyone's eyes converged on the two of them.

Hela immediately showed a smug smile.

Because she could see that Odin could no longer maintain his peak combat power; he was old and decrepit, his aura weak, unable even to defeat her.

Meanwhile, Wang Bo's aura was steady.

Clearly, Wang Bo had won the battle.

Since Hela could see this, so could others. Thor quickly came to Odin's side and supported him.

"Father." He looked at Wang Bo with reddened eyes, lightning flickering around him.

The barrier that had bound him earlier had already been torn apart layer by layer.

Odin patted Thor's hand, signaling him not to act rashly. The battle had made Odin deeply realize that his foolish son, though awakened, was far from a match for Wang Bo.

Not to mention that the other party still held the Infinity Stones.

Ah, if only he had known earlier, he would have used the Space Stone in the vault.

Hela looked down at Odin from her high position and said with a hint of triumph, "From now on, Asgard is mine, my dear father."

Odin gave Hela a deep look and did not refute. "I hope you know what you are doing."

"Of course I do," Hela said. "I will make Asgard stronger, stronger than it is now. I will surpass you and make Asgard stand at the pinnacle of the universe."

Thor was furious. "Do you know how many people will die because of this, my sister?"

Wang Bo glanced at him. This brute had once started a war with the Frost Giants without permission and had his divine power stripped by Odin. He didn't expect to hear such words today.

It seemed he had matured quite a bit.

Facing Thor's质疑, Hela said, "It will all be worth it."

Thor's entire body blazed with lightning. "I will never allow this to happen."

Hela's gaze turned cold, and the aura of death began to spread. "Are you questioning me, my reckless brother?"

Thor steadied Odin and stepped forward. "As the second in line to the throne of Asgard, I challenge you."

Hela did not refuse but nodded instead. Her thoughts were simple: she had lost to Odin and only ascended to Asgard's throne with Wang Bo's help.

If she feared even her brother's challenge, the people of Asgard would surely not accept her.

So she had to show her prowess, defeat her brother with overwhelming force, and openly declare to all of Asgard that she was the true heir.

The queen of all Asgardians.

"I can give you three days. Three days from now, I will wait for you in Asgard's largest arena. If you defeat me, I will leave Asgard."

Thor replied without hesitation, "If you win, I will acknowledge you."

"Very well." Hela smiled slightly and turned to Odin. "The heir you chose, though reckless, is braver than I imagined. In three days, I will make him submit."

Odin said nothing. With things having come this far, he could not step in to stop his son.

Moreover, he hoped that through this, Hela would be driven away and Asgard would maintain its independence.

Although he knew that his son was no match for his daughter.

But this matter was not absolutely impossible.

Otherwise, the word 'miracle' would not exist in the world.

After the agreement was made, Wang Bo and Hela found a palace in Asgard to stay in. It had once been Hela's palace, but after she was imprisoned, it had been abandoned.

Now, the owner of this palace had returned.

Hela strolled through the palace, looking nostalgically at her former residence. She cast a few small spells, and the entire residence was instantly renewed, as if newly built.
