Chapter 026: The Snap

After obtaining the knockoff version of the full-gem Infinity Gauntlet, Wang Bo was brimming with confidence about killing Thanos.

So he immediately returned to Kamar-Taj on Earth.

The Ancient One was staring blankly at the portal to the Dark Dimension. Now that the Dark Dimension had lost its master, the previous master having been killed by Wang Bo, it had become ownerless.

Any sorcerer who entered could take over this world and become the next Dormammu.

So the Ancient One was pondering whether she should enter the Dark Dimension and become its master.

But after a moment's thought, she decided to give up this opportunity.

Just then, Wang Bo returned to Kamar-Taj and appeared before her.

The Ancient One turned her head and asked, "What do you plan to do with the Dark Dimension?"

"Me?"

"Of course. You killed Dormammu, so the Dark Dimension is your spoils of war. You are fully entitled to deal with it," the Ancient One said slowly.

Wang Bo thought for a moment and summoned Caroline.

"Master." Caroline knelt on one knee, showing respect to Wang Bo.

Wang Bo pointed at the Dark Dimension and said, "This is yours."

Caroline was taken aback.

Wang Bo turned to the Ancient One and asked, "Master Ancient One, can you teach Caroline the magic to take over the Dark Dimension?"

The Ancient One nodded, raised her hand, and implanted the magic of how to become the master of the Dark Dimension into Caroline's mind.

After absorbing these memories, Caroline looked at the Dark Dimension again and couldn't help but show an expression of disbelief. This was a meteoric rise. By becoming the master of the Dark Dimension, she could step from an upper-level demon into the realm of a demon god.

Becoming a powerhouse no less than the seventy-two pillar demon gods.

For a moment, Caroline was overjoyed and quickly said, "Thank you, Master. Thank you, Master."

Wang Bo nodded and said, "Go."

Without another word, Caroline stood up and plunged into the Dark Dimension.

The Ancient One casually closed the portal to the Dark Dimension.

Becoming the master of the Dark Dimension was not something that could be done overnight. Caroline would need some time, and Wang Bo estimated that he wouldn't see her for a while.

As agreed, the Ancient One used the Eye of Agamotto to locate Thanos.

Although Wang Bo had a replica of the Time Stone, it was ultimately not as far-reaching as the original, so finding Thanos was not easy.

If his full-gem Infinity Gauntlet were genuine, a single snap could effortlessly erase Thanos no matter where in the universe he was.

But unfortunately, Wang Bo's Infinity Gauntlet was a knockoff, and its power was insufficient to erase Thanos, who was somewhere unknown in the universe. Now he had to rely on the Ancient One.

After a moment, the Ancient One opened her eyes and said calmly, "Thanos is heading to Knowhere."

Wang Bo immediately realized that now he not only had the knockoff Infinity Gauntlet but also three genuine stones: Mind, Space, and Soul. The Time Stone was in the Ancient One's hands.

Thanos could only set his sights on the Reality Stone and the Power Stone.

And those two stones were in the hands of the Collector on Knowhere.

Wang Bo nodded to the Ancient One, activated the power of the Infinity Gauntlet, and opened a portal from Earth directly to Knowhere, straight to the Collector's lair.

The Collector raised an eyebrow at Wang Bo's appearance. "You again, my friend. What rare item do you have to show me this time?"

Wang Bo shook his head and said, "I'm here to wait for someone."

"Wait for someone? Who?"

"Thanos," Wang Bo said calmly. "He's on his way here."

The Collector immediately understood. "He's coming for the Infinity Stones."

"Exactly," Wang Bo nodded.

The Collector's gaze involuntarily fell on Wang Bo's wrist. The golden Infinity Gauntlet was set with six Infinity Stones, radiating a terrifying power.

His expression shifted several times before he finally calmed down. "It seems you've collected all the Infinity Stones."

"Yes."

"Are these all replicas?"

"That's right." Wang Bo waved the gauntlet in front of him.

"How powerful are they?"

"Probably only one percent of the originals' power, maybe even a bit less." Wang Bo never overestimated his knockoffs; they couldn't compare to the real Infinity Gauntlet.

"That's still quite impressive," the Collector said in awe. As one of the Elders of the Universe, he knew better than anyone the might of a full-gem Infinity Gauntlet.

After all, the Infinity Stones were fragments of Nemesis, the Goddess of Revenge. This goddess was a being beyond the Creator Gods, impossible to locate or perceive in this dimension. All conscious understanding and laws were utterly ineffective against her, yet she existed and had existed since the birth of the universe.

Whether it was the Celestials or the Living Tribunal, they were mere children before her.

Even just one percent of that power was unimaginable.

Though it couldn't dominate the universe, destroying a galaxy should be no problem.

"It seems Thanos is doomed this time," the Collector couldn't help saying.

Wang Bo said nothing, but he thought so too.

He believed that no matter what tricks Thanos pulled this time, he couldn't escape from his grasp. With his knockoff gauntlet, Wang Bo was that confident.

He waited on Knowhere for about a day.

At noon the next day, Thanos's fleet finally arrived at Knowhere.

Thanos himself led the way, charging into the Collector's vault and heading straight for the Collector.

It was then that Wang Bo saw Thanos again.

But to Wang Bo's surprise, Thanos had lost an arm, becoming a one-armed man. It seemed his escape last time had not been without cost.

"It's you..."

Thanos was also surprised to see Wang Bo in the Collector's lair, but he didn't think it was a coincidence. He could tell that Wang Bo was waiting for him here.

He had delivered himself to the enemy. When he saw the Infinity Gauntlet in Wang Bo's hand, his pupils contracted sharply several times before he finally sighed and said, "You win."

He knew he couldn't defeat Wang Bo, especially now that Wang Bo had the Infinity Gauntlet.

So Thanos gave up resistance.

The gap in their strength was too vast; pointless resistance would only make him look worse.

"Goodbye, Thanos." Wang Bo raised his hand and snapped his fingers.

Snap!

An invisible wave swept across all of Knowhere. The world fell silent. Thanos stared quietly at Wang Bo as his body began to crumble, turning to ash, gradually vanishing from Wang Bo's sight.
