Chapter 030: The Deal

Wang Bo had an agreement with Lady Gremory.

Their transaction was limited to Ghidorah: she helped Wang Bo obtain the otherworldly soul within Ghidorah, and in return, Wang Bo gave her a piece of an ancient god's skull—each taking what they needed.

However, during the transaction, Lady Gremory took a liking to Ghidorah.

So she claimed Ghidorah. In a sense, she was the one who dealt with Ghidorah, so she had the right to demand it and take it as her trophy.

Wang Bo did not object.

But the two MUTOs, one male and one female, were not Lady Gremory's trophies.

Wang Bo had led Lady Gremory to find them; they were not part of their deal. Even so, Wang Bo still gave them to Lady Gremory as a gift.

That was why Lady Gremory said that when she returned to Hell, she would send Wang Bo twenty thousand demons.

Because in her eyes, one MUTO was worth ten thousand demons.

Two MUTOs meant twenty thousand demons.

Wang Bo thought it over and did not refuse, but he did not need that many demons, so he changed the terms: "I only need five thousand demons. For the remaining fifteen thousand, I hope you can exchange them for an equivalent number of other species."

"No problem," Lady Gremory agreed without hesitation. "What do you want?"

"Your villa?"

"To be precise, the Time Villa." Wang Bo took out the Time Villa and invited Lady Gremory to take a look inside. She gladly accepted.

So the two entered the Time Villa, leaving the female MUTO to guard it.

Meanwhile, once inside the Time Villa, Lady Gremory quickly saw through its true nature.

"A very interesting space. Though far inferior to a demiplane, it is ingenious in terms of space and time," Lady Gremory remarked lightly.

Wang Bo was unimpressed, thinking it was just Lady Gremory being polite, because he knew that while the Time Villa was nice, it was probably not worthy of a demon god's attention.

Roar!

A melodious dragon roar came from afar, catching Lady Gremory's eye. "Oh, a dragon without magic power. It must be a dragon from another world."

Wang Bo nodded. "Indeed, it's a very interesting world."

Though the Marvel world was dangerous, in a sense it was indeed very interesting. Wang Bo's words were not a lie.

Lady Gremory looked around. "I see what you mean. Although your Time Villa is large, it is indeed monotonous. Apart from dragons and demons, there are no other living beings... Wait, what do I see?"

Lady Gremory's gaze locked onto a distant factory, where she spotted the Conqueror.

"A steel lifeform. Even in Hell, they are very rare. Where did you find it?"

Wang Bo corrected her. "To be precise, it's not a steel lifeform, but a silicon-based lifeform."

Lady Gremory dismissed it. "That's just your human way of naming things."

Wang Bo shrugged, not intending to argue with her on that point.

"Is this one for sale?" Lady Gremory tested. "I can give you a hundred thousand demons."

"Not for sale," Wang Bo refused flatly.

Lady Gremory did not insist. After all, Wang Bo was her contractor, and she did not want to fall out with him over a steel lifeform.

"Alright, I..."

"But I can sell you this." Wang Bo then pulled out a replica of the AllSpark from his fourth-dimensional pocket.

Sensing the energy of the AllSpark, Lady Gremory was curious. "I can feel a peculiar energy from this thing, but I'm not sure what it is."

Though she was a demon god, she was not omniscient. Following Wang Bo, she had stepped out of her previous multiverse into a new one, broadening her horizons.

So she knew that in this new multiverse, she might be ignorant.

Thus, Lady Gremory was happy to ask without shame.

"The AllSpark," Wang Bo said softly. "It's a treasure I obtained from another multiverse. Its energy can turn steel into steel lifeforms. But because it contains very little energy, it can only be used once or twice. If you like it, I can sell it to you."

"Deal!" Lady Gremory agreed at once. "As agreed, a hundred thousand demons."

"No, no, no. It can be used once or twice, so you can get at least two steel lifeforms. My price is two hundred thousand demons," Wang Bo bargained.

"Fine." Lady Gremory did not refuse.

In her eyes, this thing was far more interesting than two hundred thousand demons.

"I'll say it again: I only need five thousand demons. For the rest, exchange them for other species of equivalent rank to demons," Wang Bo repeated.

Lady Gremory looked around, then flew into the sky to take in the entire Time Villa.

"Your place is nice, but it can't hold over two hundred thousand other species."

"Don't worry about that. I can expand the space," Wang Bo said calmly. As long as he had enough magic power, he could repeatedly cast the Undetectable Extension Charm to extend the space endlessly.

Expanding it a hundredfold or two hundredfold would be no problem.

Lady Gremory said nothing, but nodded. "If that's your request, I can agree."

"Thank you."

Wang Bo nodded. "Actually, there are no more travelers in this world. I could leave at any time, and I don't want to leave you alone in this world after I'm gone."

He had never forgotten that Lady Gremory was a demon god of Hell.

Even though she was only a projection now, she was still a demon god. Compared to her, both Ghidorah and the MUTOs were as harmless as little bugs.

If he left Lady Gremory in this world, perhaps before long, this world would fall into her hands.

With the strength of the humans in this world, they could not withstand a demon god.

So before leaving this world, Wang Bo had to send the demon god Lady Gremory away.
