Chapter 023: Aliens
获得主角能力的我只想过平凡生活 · 第023章 外星人
This exchange lasted from morning until evening, and both parties felt they had not had enough.
So they agreed to continue the next day.
The same happened the second day, the third day, and the fourth day.
In fact, by the second day, even Gandalf had joined in, turning the conversation from two people to three.
Although Gandalf was jokingly called a melee mage, he was still a Maia, a wizard, and his understanding of magic was no less than Wang Bo's or Galadriel's.
The three of them talked for about seven days before stopping.
All three were very satisfied with this exchange. Wang Bo had gained a great deal and wished he could immediately lock himself away to slowly digest the harvest.
Gandalf and Galadriel felt the same, so after exchanging a few pleasantries, they left the Lonely Mountain to find their own places to absorb what they had learned.
As for Radagast, he had left on the second day of the feast and returned to his forest.
Círdan, on the other hand, found the dwarves and asked for a large amount of materials, starting his great shipbuilding project. He wanted to build the magic ship Wang Bo had requested as soon as possible.
Under these circumstances, he naturally had no spare time to join Wang Bo and the others in their discussions.
After seeing off Gandalf and Galadriel, Wang Bo immersed himself in the ocean of knowledge, digesting what he had gained.
He felt that his understanding of magic had reached a new level.
Just then, Miss Friday came from the Transformers world through the world-gate to Middle-earth and found Wang Bo, who was absorbed in digesting magical knowledge.
“Master, the traveler you were looking for has appeared.”
Wang Bo was startled. “You found the traveler? Where? How did you find him?”
Friday said bitterly, “I didn’t find him; he popped out on his own. And now the whole world knows. Master, you’d better go back and see.”
“What’s going on?” Wang Bo asked with a frown.
Miss Friday said, “You’ll know when you go back. If you don’t go back soon, humanity on Earth is doomed.”
Wang Bo was shocked. He knew Friday; she would never lie to him or exaggerate.
If she said humanity was about to be doomed, then humanity really was about to be doomed.
Wang Bo could no longer sit still. Forgetting about digesting his knowledge, he stood up abruptly and said, “Let’s go back and see. Is this traveler really that fierce?”
Earth had billions of people and a large number of nuclear weapons, and Optimus Prime and the others would never stand by while humans were killed.
But even so, Friday said humanity on Earth was doomed.
This proved that this traveler was extremely formidable, so much so that even Optimus Prime and his group were useless.
Which world’s traveler was this, so powerful? Could it be a god?
Wang Bo didn’t even have time to say goodbye to the dwarves before following Friday back to the Transformers world, though he left Xiao Bai behind.
With Xiao Bai in charge, the Lonely Mountain would not fall into chaos.
Returning to Earth in the Transformers world, Wang Bo came out of the world-gate and teleported to Los Angeles. He found that news was playing on every street and in every alley.
Aliens had arrived!
A spaceship had parked in Earth’s outer space and taken over the global network, repeatedly broadcasting a message on TV, mobile phones, computer screens, and televisions.
“I am General Zod. I come from a planet far from yours. I have crossed the stars to reach you. For some time, your world has sheltered one of my citizens. I demand that you return him to me. For reasons unknown, he has chosen to keep his identity hidden from you.”
“He has tried to blend in with you. He looks like you, but he is not one of you. To those who might know of his current whereabouts, the fate of your planet rests in your hands.”
“Kal-El, listen. Surrender within twenty-four hours, or watch this world suffer.”
Seeing this news, Wang Bo couldn’t help but smile wryly.
No wonder Friday had been so anxious to find him.
So that was it.
This traveler was actually General Zod, one of the great villains of the DC universe, Superman’s nemesis, a survivor of Krypton, and its military commander.
Wang Bo hadn’t expected that the traveler in the Transformers world would be General Zod, who was giving Kal-El, Superman Clark, twenty-four hours to surrender.
But the problem was that this wasn’t the DC world; it was the Transformers world.
Not to mention twenty-four hours, even two hundred and forty hours, Superman wouldn’t surrender.
Because he simply wasn’t in this world.
But the problem was that General Zod definitely didn’t know that. The guy probably wasn’t even aware he had traveled and thought he had found Earth in the DC world.
Wang Bo asked, “How long has this message been playing?”
Friday said, “Less than half an hour.”
She had gone to Middle-earth to find Wang Bo as soon as she received the news.
Friday had also seen the movie Man of Steel and understood General Zod’s terror better than anyone else. These Kryptonians, after absorbing sunlight, were like pumped-up chickens, their strength off the charts.
With humanity’s strength and the Transformers’ strength, they were no match for these Kryptonians.
So she didn’t dare delay a moment and hurried to Middle-earth to find Wang Bo.
After the initial shock, Wang Bo quickly became excited because he thought of something.
The spaceship parked outside Earth’s atmosphere probably didn’t have just General Zod alone, but also a group of his subordinates—at least twenty or thirty people, maybe even more.
What did that mean?
It meant that if Wang Bo sent them all back, he would get at least twenty or thirty lottery draws. This was a huge opportunity. How could Wang Bo not be excited?
So far, he had never obtained so many lottery draws.
The last time he had such a draw, it was through cheating, and the prizes were reduced.
But this time, they were all genuine travelers, not Wang Bo cheating, so he couldn’t wait. After locking onto the spaceship’s position, Wang Bo originally planned to teleport directly inside.
But soon he thought of a problem.
In the movie Man of Steel, this spaceship from Krypton mimicked Krypton’s environment.
If he rushed in like that, would he end up like Superman in the plot and collapse on the spot?
