Chapter 039: Transformation

After Optimus Prime killed Megatron, he walked over to Wang Bo, lowered his head, and expressed his gratitude to Wang Bo.

If it weren't for Wang Bo, he wouldn't have been able to kill Megatron so easily.

He hadn't forgotten that in the original storyline, he had actually been killed by Megatron once.

"You're welcome." Wang Bo waved his hand at Optimus Prime's thanks and said, "You're Bumblebee's friend, so helping you is only right. But what do you plan to do next?"

Megatron was dead. The Fallen was dead.

After the Decepticons lost their two leaders, the rest were insignificant.

But the problem was that Optimus Prime couldn't unite with humans to wipe out the Decepticons remaining on Earth, because the humans on Earth had been deceived by Megatron, seeing Optimus Prime as an enemy and wanting to kill him for gain.

Under these circumstances, Wang Bo really wanted to know what Optimus Prime would do.

Optimus Prime pondered for a moment and slowly said, "I plan to have a proper talk with humanity."

It was clear that Optimus Prime hadn't given up on the humans of Earth.

And the other Transformers, though their expressions varied, none objected.

Since that was the case, Wang Bo didn't stop him. "Alright, since you've decided, I wish you a swift reconciliation with humanity."

"Thank you."

Next, the group planned to return to Earth, but before that, Wang Bo wanted to scavenge the Decepticon spaceship to see if he could find anything good.

Optimus Prime didn't stop him.

So Wang Bo, along with Diana, Xiaoqing, and Friday, wandered around inside the ship.

Xiaoqing had been a bystander since the battle began, never making a move, not because she didn't want to, but because her stand was too ferocious and could easily injure allies.

So Xiaoqing never acted.

Anyway, she believed Wang Bo could handle everything.

And as it turned out, even if Wang Bo didn't act, everything could be resolved, since Diana was also very powerful.

After the group took a tour around the spaceship, they actually found a few good things.

An unknown metal, several powerful weapons, and some high-tech Cybertronian technology.

Among these technologies were some that Friday didn't have. Friday generously learned them all and decided to pass them on to Conqueror and Blackwing.

Conqueror could use these technologies to build better mechanical soldiers and more powerful spaceships. Maybe these things were useless now, but perhaps in some world, they would come in handy.

The more technological reserves, the better.

After wandering around a few times and taking what they needed, Wang Bo and his group opened a portal and returned to Earth from the spaceship.

The location was still the tomb of the original Transformers.

Wang Bo took his leave from Optimus Prime there. Optimus Prime didn't stop him, solemnly thanked Wang Bo along with all the Transformers, and then turned and left.

As for Bumblebee and Xiaoqing, they stayed behind.

From now on, Bumblebee was Xiaoqing's personal ride.

Bumblebee watched Optimus Prime and the others leave, crying profusely, oil spilling all over the ground.

Xiaoqing patted his leg and said, "What are you crying for? It's not like we'll never see them again. Once we settle down in the new world, we can come back to this world anytime."

Bumblebee immediately stopped crying.

Then, Wang Bo took Xiaoqing, Diana, and Bumblebee back to the Lonely Mountain and found Bai.

Bai had stayed in the Lonely Mountain these past few days.

Now, seeing Wang Bo return with Diana, she immediately realized that the traveler who appeared in the Transformers world must have come from the DC world.

Otherwise, Wang Bo couldn't have brought Diana back.

Wang Bo proactively told Bai about what happened after he left the Lonely Mountain and mentioned that Diana wanted to see the scenery of the Lonely Mountain. Bai volunteered to be a guide and took Diana on a tour around the Lonely Mountain.

Meanwhile, the restless Xiaoqing took Bumblebee to wander around and explore the Lonely Mountain.

The dwarves, who were forging weapons, were stunned when they saw Bumblebee.

They had worked with metal all their lives; every dwarf was born knowing how to forge metal, as if by instinct, but they had never imagined that metal could possess life.

It wasn't magical.

Yet Bumblebee's appearance shattered the worldview of these dwarves.

They swarmed around Bumblebee, surrounding him, their eyes fervent as they kept touching his body. Bumblebee trembled, feeling like he was done for.

Just as he thought he was about to be dismantled, Xiaoqing let out a loud shout, grabbed the dwarves one by one, and tossed them away.

The dwarves thudded to the ground.

Xiaoqing said loudly, "This is Bumblebee, my mount and my friend. Without my permission, you are absolutely not allowed to touch him, understand?"

Seeing Xiaoqing protect Bumblebee so fiercely, the dwarves felt disheartened.

This was living metal! Shouldn't such a miracle be studied?

So a few clever dwarves rolled their eyes, slipped away from Xiaoqing and Bumblebee, and went directly to Wang Bo, hoping he would agree to let them study Bumblebee.

Even the dwarf prince Thorin was captivated when he saw Bumblebee.

"By my ancestors, this is living metal, truly incredible."

So he also joined the camp persuading Wang Bo.

Wang Bo naturally couldn't agree to the dwarves studying Bumblebee and flatly refused.

But the dwarves still wouldn't give up, trying every means, vowing to study Bumblebee. Fortunately, a few wise ones among them came up with an idea.

The dwarves who had previously touched Bumblebee noticed that the metal on his body was of average hardness, so they took mithril and vibranium and approached Bumblebee.

"Don't you want to become bigger, harder, lighter, and stronger?" the dwarves invited Bumblebee.

Bumblebee said he did, of course he did—any Cybertronian warrior wouldn't mind becoming stronger.

So after hesitating a few times, he decided to team up with the dwarves, letting them replace his external parts to make him bigger, harder, lighter, and stronger.

Xiaoqing had no choice about this, since it was Bumblebee's own decision. She could only watch as the dwarves disassembled Bumblebee, studied and reinforced every part, then reassembled him in order.

When Bumblebee stood up again, he found himself bigger, harder, lighter, and stronger.

Now, he could take on ten of his former self without issue.

He had upgraded!

But on the second day after the upgrade, he, along with Xiaoqing, Bai, and Diana, entered Wang Bo's Time Villa.

Then, they arrived at a new world!
