Using this instrument, Li Qiushui calculated the day of a lunar eclipse and challenged Wu Xingyun on that day.

The two fought fiercely in the sky.

Li Qiushui was beaten badly by Wu Xingyun, but when the lunar eclipse occurred, Wu Xingyun faltered. The flaw in the Child Maiden Heart Sutra was exposed, and she was directly overthrown by Li Qiushui.

Although the lunar eclipse passed in the end, Wu Xingyun still couldn't turn the tide and was instead knocked off a cliff by Li Qiushui.

But Wu Xingyun did not die; she was severely injured and reverted to childhood.

This was also a major characteristic of the Child Maiden Heart Sutra.
