Chapter 026: Thank You for Your Help

After confirming that Wang Bo's spirit had not been shaken by all the messy things on the internet, Gwen sat for a while and then got up to leave.

It wasn't that she didn't want to stay and chat with Wang Bo, but because the matter with Kingpin had to be dealt with as soon as possible.

If it were any later, Kingpin would likely repair the super-collider and once again cause harm to this world.

So she had to handle this matter quickly.

After Gwen left, Wang Bo summoned his butler, Malthus, from the Time Villa.

"My master," Malthus bowed to Wang Bo in respect, "May I ask what you have summoned me for?"

Wang Bo handed the damaged breastplate to Malthus. "Go to Middle-earth and give this damaged artifact to the dwarves there. Ask them to repair it as best they can. If they can't manage it, then forget it."

Malthus took the armor respectfully. Although the artifact was damaged, he could still feel a great power within it.

His own proud magic seemed so insignificant before this power.

"As you command, my master." Malthus carefully stored the artifact in his shadow, bowed again to Wang Bo, then entered the portal to Middle-earth.

Wang Bo stayed behind, continuing to observe the spatial fluctuations.

Two days later, Wang Bo detected a new spatial fluctuation, still in New York. A velociraptor had entered this world through the breach.

Wang Bo noticed this, rushed over as fast as he could, repaired the spatial breach, and threw the velociraptor back into its original world.

He knew this spatial breach likely led to a Jurassic world; before he had entered this world, he had seen a Tyrannosaurus rex that probably came from that world.

Fortunately, aside from dinosaurs, there was nothing unusual in that world.

So this repair was the easiest for Wang Bo. There were no complications at all; it was incredibly smooth.

After that, Wang Bo encountered three more spatial breaches.

One at Angkor Wat, one on a deserted island, and the last in the deep sea.

The one at Angkor Wat was still easy; Wang Bo repaired the spatial breach with almost no effort.

The one on the deserted island was more troublesome. What entered this world was a group of giant spiders, each one astonishingly large. Elephants seemed like children in front of these spiders.

Moreover, these spiders emitted strong magical fluctuations.

Clearly, they were a group of powerful magical creatures.

To be honest, if these spiders had appeared not on a deserted island but in a bustling city, it would have been a massive disaster.

Fortunately, they appeared on a deserted island, surrounded by an endless sea.

So the giant spiders were trapped on the island.

Thus, Wang Bo calmly repaired the spatial breach before turning to deal with the spiders.

He summoned a large number of demons from the Time Villa and had them devour the magical creatures. One lower demon even succeeded in advancing to become a middle demon.

As for the deep sea incident, that was the most troublesome.

When Wang Bo arrived at the destination, no animals or other things had entered this world through the breach. Instead, the seawater from this world was flowing into other worlds through the breach.

If this continued, who knew if the world's seawater would dry up.

So Wang Bo quickly spent a few minutes repairing the spatial breach.

But even so, a large amount of seawater had entered other worlds. The global water level had dropped by at least a few centimeters.

This surprised Wang Bo; Gwen and her group weren't slow either.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

Wang Bo got up and opened the door. Gwen, Spider-Ham, Spider-Man Noir, Peter Parker, and Peni Parker were standing at his doorstep.

"Come in." Wang Bo let them in. The TV was still broadcasting the news of Kingpin's imprisonment.

Gwen glanced at it and couldn't help but smile. "Looks like you already know."

"Yes, congratulations on defeating Kingpin and saving this world." Wang Bo said admiringly, "I knew you could do it."

Peter Parker coughed twice and said, "Thanks for the compliment. Actually, Kingpin is indeed a tough opponent. I mean, he's very hard to deal with, but unfortunately for him, he ran into me—no, us."

Spider-Ham jumped up onto the coffee table, gesticulating wildly. "Absolutely right, Peter Parker. Kingpin is tough, but we're tougher. As long as we work together, Kingpin is nothing."

The two even high-fived to celebrate their victory.

Gwen smiled. "Alright, save the boasting for later. Don't forget why we're here today."

Peter Parker and Spider-Ham nodded and sat down quietly.

Gwen said, "We defeated Kingpin and stopped him from activating the super-collider, but we also lost the chance to return to our own worlds. So I hope you can—"

"No problem." Wang Bo interrupted Gwen, making an OK gesture. He knew what Gwen wanted to say. "So when do you plan to go back?"

"Now, right now." Spider-Ham jumped up. "There's a ton of stuff waiting for me in my world, so I can't wait."

"Alright." Wang Bo extended his hand. "Take my hand, and I'll send you back."

"Thanks."

"You're welcome."

Spider-Ham took Wang Bo's hand and vanished instantly.

Wang Bo said, "Who's next?"

Peni Parker walked over. "Can you send us both back together?" She was referring to her robot.

"Of course. Get in, and I'll send you back." Wang Bo nodded.

Peni Parker nodded and obediently climbed into the robot. Wang Bo patted the robot's hand and sent it, along with Peni Parker, back to their world.

Then it was Spider-Man Noir's turn.

He said coolly, "Thank you for your help."
