Chapter 2261: Suggestion

Rebirth of a Perfect Future · 第2261章 建议

Zhao Fusheng was serious when he said he wanted to buy a yacht and a helicopter.

He wasn't short of money now; buying a yacht and a helicopter for his parents was hardly a major expense.

Liu Yiming arranged for people to investigate, while Zhao Fusheng and the others took the children back to the villa.

"You're here."

Li Yuan walked out of the villa and said to Zhao Fusheng.

"You should rest now."

Zhao Fusheng quickly replied.

On the way over, he had heard that Li Yuan had been unwell lately and was recuperating.

Her health had never been very good, not as robust as Zhao's mother. Fortunately, she hadn't been overworked or troubled in recent years, or she would have collapsed long ago.

"Let's go inside first."

Li Yuan smiled and said to Zhao Fusheng.

Having watched Zhao Fusheng grow up, she truly regarded him as her own son, just as Zhao's parents treated Fan Baobao and Fan Beibei as their own daughters.

The group entered the house, handed the children over to the nanny, and sat chatting for a while.

Before long, Zhao's father and Tan Kaixuan strolled back.

In their hands, they carried several fish.

"A good catch?"

Zhao Fusheng said with a smile to his father and Tan Kaixuan.

His father nodded: "Xiao Tan is impressive, a very skilled angler."

"Haha, Uncle, you flatter me. I was just lucky." Tan Kaixuan smugly raised his chin at Zhao Fusheng.

Zhao Fusheng was speechless.

"You two sit tight; I'll go change."

Zhao's father went upstairs, and Zhao's mother and the others busied themselves with their own tasks.

Zhao Fusheng and Tan Kaixuan walked out to the pool beside the villa.

"Why are you here?"

Tan Kaixuan asked, a bit puzzled.

"Just missed the family, came to see them."

Zhao Fusheng said to Tan Kaixuan: "Where's your wife?"

"Don't even mention it. I wanted her to vacation in Europe, but my mother insisted she come back, so I sent her home. I was bored out of my mind, so I came to fish with your old man."

Tan Kaixuan looked helpless and quite frustrated.

Zhao Fusheng chuckled, understanding the guy well.

Tan Kaixuan was someone who couldn't sit still; being alone was pure torture for him.

"By the way, when did you buy a yacht?"

Zhao Fusheng then remembered something and asked casually.

"Not long ago."

Tan Kaixuan said: "Just thought I'd buy one for fishing and such. What, you want one too?"

"Yeah, and I'm also planning to buy a helicopter."

Zhao Fusheng nodded, not hiding it from Tan Kaixuan.

"That works. Since the whole family is here, it'll come in handy when you go out." Tan Kaixuan wasn't surprised; with Zhao Fusheng's wealth, he could afford not just a yacht but even a cruise ship.

"Chairman."

At that moment, Liu Yiming walked over and handed Zhao Fusheng a document: "This just came by fax—information on yachts and helicopters."

"Pretty fast."

Zhao Fusheng smiled, satisfied with his staff's efficiency.

He looked over the document and casually said to Tan Kaixuan: "Come on, help me choose."

"Get the same yacht as mine. As for the helicopter, decide for yourself." Tan Kaixuan said.

Zhao Fusheng thought for a moment, nodded, put down the yacht info, and picked up the helicopter brochure.

Helicopters are categorized in detail, and prices vary.

For instance, if it's for state use—like purchasing attack helicopters, large transport helicopters, or even specialized anti-submarine or electronic warfare helicopters—the prices are naturally high.

The world's largest helicopter, the Soviet-made "Halo," requires powerful engines and durable materials due to its large payload and lifting capacity, costing up to twenty million US dollars.

Moreover, its fuel consumption is enormous; non-state entities simply can't afford to buy, operate, or maintain it, and private individuals can only rent it.

Then there's the MD500 small helicopter, designed and manufactured by the former McDonnell Douglas. It comes in military and civilian versions, but the difference is minimal—both are built to the highest standards, with the military version adding a few sensors. The price is relatively affordable, with the civilian version costing four hundred thousand US dollars.

However, this helicopter is too small to carry many people, making it unsuitable for commercial aviation. Top executives of large corporations wouldn't use such a small helicopter, so manufacturers developed commercial models like the Bell series of light commercial helicopters, which are slightly larger in length and width.

And the price isn't high, around three point five million US dollars.

In fact, it's even cheaper than some supercars.

Naturally, it's a favorite for many.

Zhao Fusheng was quite interested and even thought about getting a pilot's license.

In fact, abroad, as long as you have a certain financial base, no criminal record, and pass a health check, you can buy a suitable helicopter.

But although these ultra-small helicopters are cheap, costs like flight training, parking, and maintenance are not inexpensive—you might be able to afford to buy but not to use.

Additionally, private small aircraft are no longer as free to fly as before; airspace control is very strict.

"If you ask me, you should forget it."

Tan Kaixuan looked at Zhao Fusheng seriously after a while.

"Why?"

Zhao Fusheng was a bit surprised.

"It's unsafe, and do you think the people around you would let you fly yourself?" Tan Kaixuan bluntly burst Zhao Fusheng's bubble.

Zhao Fusheng was instantly speechless.

Right.

Tan Kaixuan was absolutely right.

He figured that if he dared to fly a plane alone, his mother would jump into the sea to prove a point.

Of that, he was certain.

His adorable mother was capable of such eccentric behavior.

"Ha, how's that? Wake up from your dream?"

Tan Kaixuan laughed when he saw Zhao Fusheng silent.

Zhao Fusheng shot a glare at the gloating guy and decided he shouldn't continue this topic. He needed to say something to sting him.

With that thought, Zhao Fusheng asked with a half-smile: "By the way, how's the situation in Italy? Any improvement?"

He was, of course, referring to Tan Kaixuan's investments in Italy.

"Well..."

Tan Kaixuan blinked, feeling that Zhao Fusheng was getting back at him.

"Come on, I know you too well."

Zhao Fusheng grinned and said to Tan Kaixuan: "If you ask me, you should cut your losses now and pull out. Otherwise, how long do you think you can last in that Italian quagmire?"

Hearing this, Tan Kaixuan fell into deep thought.
