Chapter 90: The Primordial Demons

Deep within the Endless Blood Sea.

The viscous blood was nearly stagnant.

Andrew Sean Mayo Merlin gently waved his massive tentacles in the blood sea.

Blood crystals danced around his tentacles.

Occasionally, Andrew Sean Mayo Merlin would lightly swallow a blood crystal.

From the奇妙 energy contained in the blood crystal, Andrew Sean Mayo Merlin could sense the location of that transcendent being, and even see the current situation of that transcendent.

But there were exceptions.

Some blood crystals had very light shackles of fate, requiring Andrew to look carefully to sense them across endless time and space.

At the same time, there were blood crystals with no shackles of fate at all, impossible to see even if one wanted to.

For example, that little one born from the same Cthulhu creature's flesh—he couldn't see him, though of course, with some effort, he could.

Clearly, the half-slumbering Andrew Sean Mayo Merlin was not very interested.

Lights that flicker and fade like fireflies were not worth his energy.

After all, calamity would descend in the near future.

He too must do his utmost to awaken early, recover his strength, and become powerful.

Ascend from the form of a Dominator to that of an Old God, then to the form of an Elder God who rules the starry sky.

He sensed that the little one named Gune was coming.

"Hmm?"

As he focused, Andrew Sean Mayo Merlin's slightly opened eyes gradually opened fully.

"A Cthulhu embryo? How... did he manage that?" Doubt arose in Andrew's mind.

Then Andrew revealed a long-lost smile.

"Good, he is no longer that fleeting firefly."

"Perhaps his body can radiate eternal light like holy radiance."

As if crossing endless time and space.

Gune slowly descended into the deep sea of the Blood Dream World.

As soon as he landed, Gune felt the terrifying and vast aura.

It was the aura of the Dominator creature, Andrew Sean Mayo Merlin.

As he descended.

Gune also noticed that with his improved strength and digestion of the Dominator's flesh.

The harm caused by Andrew Sean Mayo Merlin as a Cthulhu creature seemed to have been completely resisted by him.

"Not fearing the innate power of a Cthulhu creature—that is something only top-tier gods can do. Though it's because of my digestion of the flesh, it's still good news."

"But when I face other types of Cthulhu Dominators, I'm afraid I still won't be able to resist."

"Greetings, great Andrew Sean Mayo Merlin." Gune bowed respectfully.

"You are quite good!" Andrew praised.

"What is it?"

"Eryuan creatures."

"Those strange creatures that suppress source-force creatures in all aspects?" Andrew asked.

"They are the source of the calamity." Andrew did not hide anything and stated directly.

Gune was slightly startled.

Even a powerful Cthulhu Dominator regarded the Eryuan creatures as a calamity?

"No wonder the Shepherd God told others that the Eryuan creatures were a calamity. It seems these creatures have indeed been taken seriously among high-ranking deities." Gune thought to himself.

"What exactly are they? Even the great Andrew Sean Mayo Merlin sees them as a calamity?" Gune voiced his doubt.

Andrew waved his tentacles and gently looked toward the distant sea surface. After staring for a moment, he slowly spoke.

"Cthulhu creatures are the masters of the starry sky, dominating everything."

"But..." Andrew's tone grew deeper.

"The powerful beings above the stars are not limited to the Cthulhu lineage."

"Not limited to the Cthulhu lineage? There are others? Who are they?" Andrew's words sparked Gune's infinite imagination.

Gune did not ask further, waiting for Andrew Sean Mayo Merlin to continue.

"A long, long time ago, before I was even born."

"Even before the 'worlds' that nurture life came into being."

"At that time, many worlds had not yet been born, and there were no other lives. Cthulhu life was the only existence in the starry sky."

"They needed nothing. In their world, there was only slumber and awakening."

"The existence of time had no meaning, because everything alternated between their slumber and awakening."

"A kind of creature appeared among the stars."

"According to the accounts of the Ancients, they are called the Primordial Demons!"

"Primordial Demons?" Gune's heart stirred.

"They could even rival powerful Cthulhu Dominators, but they were inferior to Old Gods and Elder Gods."

"But their numbers were many, very many."

"Even... endless."

"The Cthulhu once investigated."

"But no one knew how they appeared, or even where they came from."

"Even examining their memories could not reveal their origin. Perhaps they themselves did not know where they came from."

"Then, the Primordial Demons and the Cthulhu creatures waged a great war."

"At first, when these Primordial Demons appeared, the Cthulhu creatures paid no attention to their emergence among the stars."

"Even when they established their own civilization, the Cthulhu creatures did not care."

"But these Primordial Demons developed an interest in hunting Cthulhu creatures."

"Thus triggering the war between the Cthulhu creatures and the Primordial Demons."

"This caused many Cthulhu creatures to join the battle."

"Although they were numerous, they were relatively weak. A powerful Dominator could kill a large number of Primordial Demons."

"In the end, the Primordial Demons were defeated."
