Chapter 016 Renovation

获得主角能力的我只想过平凡生活 · 第016章 翻新

Wang Bo originally had nothing to do, so he went to chat with Milo.

But unexpectedly, after a single visit, he came back with four extra women.

One was a goddess, and three were female Saints; none of them were simple characters.

Take the weakest, Shaina and Marin, for example: both were Silver Saints, masters of the Seventh Sense, proficient in all kinds of superpowers, their strength overwhelming all sub-deity-level experts in the Pirates of the Caribbean world.

Whether pirates or wizards, none could stand against them.

Even if placed in the One Piece world, they would be top-tier experts.

Though the One Piece world is formidable, compared to the Saint Seiya world, it was merely a little brother; Yonko-level experts were essentially no different from small fry in the eyes of Gold Saints.

What Devil Fruits, what Haki—could they block a light-speed punch?

They couldn't.

A single light-speed punch from a Gold Saint would make the whole planet tremble, let alone a Yonko. Whitebeard, hailed as capable of destroying the world, was nothing in the eyes of Saints.

After all, the power of Cosmo was too high-end; even in a nuclear explosion, one could protect oneself.

Compared to Cosmo, Haki was nothing.

So real it was unsettling.

After the four women followed Wang Bo to the Pirates of the Caribbean world and discovered that Wang Bo had opened a bar there, they were greatly astonished; even Athena cast several glances at Wang Bo.

Wang Bo said calmly, "My purpose in coming to this world is to be a good babysitter, ensuring the smooth fusion of the two worlds, so it's not suitable to stir up trouble now."

Athena asked curiously, "Can you tell me about these two worlds?"

"No problem." Wang Bo readily agreed. Since he had nothing better to do, he pulled up a chair, sat down, and gave the women a detailed account of the similarities and differences between the Pirates of the Caribbean and One Piece worlds.

After some conversation, the women finally gained a certain understanding of these two worlds.

Athena narrowed her eyes and said nothing.

But Milo couldn't help saying, "That One Piece world seems quite interesting."

Marin and Shaina nodded in agreement. Compared to the Pirates of the Caribbean world with its gods, the godless One Piece world seemed more interesting to them.

After all, their own world also had gods.

This was actually normal; everyone envies what they don't have. No one has ever heard of envying what one already possesses.

Precisely because they didn't have it, they envied and yearned for it.

Wang Bo pointed to the sea outside and said, "If you want to go to the One Piece world, just enter the sea, and there's a certain chance you'll arrive there."

Athena shook her head and said, "No, the sea is Poseidon's domain; she would be discovered by Poseidon."

If it were just a few bugs entering the sea, Poseidon naturally wouldn't care.

But if a behemoth capable of destroying the sea entered it, Poseidon would find it hard not to notice. And Milo, who had the power to destroy the Earth, was that behemoth.

Once she entered the sea, she would inevitably attract Poseidon's attention.

Athena, for now, did not want to draw the attention of this world's Poseidon.

Wang Bo said, "Poseidon might not necessarily notice. I heard from Triton that Poseidon seems to have already left this world and entered the One Piece world."

Athena's heart stirred, and she asked, "Triton—the same Triton?"

"That's right, the same Triton, Poseidon's son." Wang Bo answered affirmatively.

Athena thought that if so, she might be able to make some moves.

But in the end, she suppressed the idea, after all, she came to this world to meet another version of herself, not for Poseidon.

"I need you to do me a favor," Athena said, looking at Wang Bo.

"What favor?"

"I hope you can go to Athens."

"No."

Wang Bo instinctively refused. As soon as he heard Athens, he knew what this Athena wanted to do. Since ancient times, Athens had been this Athena's territory.

Now she wanted Wang Bo to go to Athens, undoubtedly to use him to contact this world's Athena.

Wang Bo naturally didn't want to. His job was to guard the stable fusion of this world and the One Piece world; aside from that, he was unwilling to do other things.

For example, dealing with the gods of Greek mythology—Wang Bo flatly refused.

So Wang Bo decisively turned down Athena.

Athena hadn't expected to be refused so bluntly; her expression froze for a moment, but she quickly recovered, her eyes flickering a few times as she said, "Since you're unwilling, I won't force you. Milo, I'll leave this to you. Go to Athens."

Milo immediately said, "Understood, Lady Athena."

As Athena's Saint, she naturally wouldn't refuse Athena's request.

"When should I set off?" She glanced at Wang Bo and asked.

"Right now," Athena said. "After you reach Athens, enter the temple and leave a message for the other me. Can you do that?"

"Of course." Milo said without hesitation, "Please rest assured, Lady Athena. I will definitely complete your mission."

With that, Milo left the bar.

But before leaving, Milo shot Wang Bo a look, the meaning simple: help her take care of Athena.

Wang Bo smiled. In truth, with Athena's current strength, she didn't need his care at all.

But since it was Milo's request, Wang Bo couldn't bring himself to refuse.

"Don't worry." He returned Milo a look.

Only then did Milo leave with peace of mind.

After seeing Milo off, Wang Bo turned back to Athena and said, "Do you need me to prepare a room for you tonight, Miss Athena?"

"Of course." Athena nodded and said, "Then I'll trouble you."

"You're welcome." Wang Bo then summoned Caroline and asked her to prepare several rooms in Royal Port for Athena and her two attendants, Marin of Aquila and Shaina of Ophiuchus.

Caroline agreed and handled the matter as quickly as possible.

That evening, Athena and her party moved into a villa. The villa had originally been an abandoned one, but after Caroline took a liking to it, she spent an hour renovating it from the inside out. When Athena and the others entered, the entire villa was as splendid as a palace, no less impressive than Athena's room in the Sanctuary.
