Chapter 017: Attack

获得主角能力的我只想过平凡生活 · 第017章 袭击

Early the next morning, Milo returned.

Gold Saints could move at light speed, reaching Athens in an instant. The reason Milo had taken a whole day was mainly to complete Athena's mission.

So Milo spent a little time and only returned this morning.

"Morning, Milo."

Wang Bo was eating when he saw Milo push open the door and enter. He greeted him, "Have you had breakfast? Want to join me?"

Milo didn't stand on ceremony either. He walked over and sat opposite Wang Bo.

Wang Bo pulled out a Gourmet Tablecloth and placed it in front of Milo.

Milo asked, "Where is Lady Athena?"

"Still sleeping, I guess." Actually, Wang Bo didn't know where Athena had gone. After all, he wasn't her babysitter, and Athena didn't want Wang Bo to be one either.

But if Athena had any requests, Wang Bo could certainly fulfill them.

Milo said "Oh," thinking that in this world, nothing would happen to Lady Athena, so he stopped worrying, ordered a breakfast, and ate with relish.

Just then, however, Athena, Marin, and Shaina walked in from outside.

"Ah, Milo, you're back."

Milo quickly stood up and said, "I've returned, Lady Athena."

Athena nodded, walked over, pulled out a chair, and sat down, while signaling Milo to sit as well. "Did everything go smoothly, Milo?"

"Very smoothly," Milo said. "I've left a mark in your temple, Lady Athena. I believe that the Athena of this world will surely notice it."

"You've worked hard, Milo."

"No, these are all things I should do," Milo said modestly.

Wang Bo tapped the table and said, "Alright, enough pleasantries. Let's eat. You two, come sit and eat together."

He turned his head and said to Marin and Shaina, who were standing behind Athena.

Marin and Shaina exchanged a glance, shook their heads, and were about to refuse when they suddenly heard Athena say, "Alright, Marin, Shaina, you two come over and sit down to eat together."

Not daring to disobey Athena's command, Marin and Shaina nodded, walked over, and sat beside Wang Bo.

Wang Bo took out a few more Gourmet Tablecloths, handed them over, and explained how to use them.

Athena ordered a glass of milk and a sandwich. After a few bites, her eyes lit up. "This is pretty good. How about giving me one?"

"Sure," Wang Bo agreed casually. After all, the Gourmet Tablecloth wasn't anything precious.

He had plenty; giving a few to Athena was no problem.

After the group finished breakfast, Athena stretched lazily and asked nonchalantly, "I plan to take a casual stroll around this world today. What do you think?"

"Sure, as long as you don't cause any impact on this world. Do as you please."

"Don't worry, I won't cause you any trouble."

"Good."

Wang Bo was quite satisfied with Athena's attitude. She was a woman who knew how to handle things.

But thinking about it carefully, the Athena of the Saint Seiya world did seem to be a lawful good goddess, having saved humanity from extinction several times.

She had prevented Hades from invading the human world more than once.

But from this perspective, Wang Bo had a great deal of goodwill toward her.

Before long, Athena, Milo, Shaina, and Saori left the bar, while Wang Bo sat alone and steady inside, passing the time leisurely.

Around noon, Elizabeth appeared before Wang Bo once again.

Wang Bo couldn't help but look helpless. "You still haven't given up?"

Elizabeth seemed to have already made up her mind. "I can work for you too, as long as you're willing to give me a magic ship."

"So you want to abandon the life of a rich young lady and become a pirate."

"You could say that."

"Does your family agree?"

"I'm not a child anymore. I can agree on my own."

"Even if you say that, I don't have much confidence in you. Go back." Wang Bo waved his hand and said.

Elizabeth had no choice but to turn and leave. However, when she reached the door, she looked back at Wang Bo and said, "I won't give up."

"Even if you don't give up, I won't give you a magic ship." Wang Bo said without looking up.

Elizabeth: ...

After seeing off this young lady, Wang Bo couldn't help but feel a bit puzzled.

What exactly had happened to Elizabeth? Why would she, a perfectly fine heiress, want to become a pirate?

In the story, Elizabeth did become a pirate, and even the Pirate King.

But that was forced, wasn't it?

Wang Bo remembered that she had fallen into the sea with the Aztec gold, attracting Barbossa and his undead crew. After being kidnapped by them, she gradually embarked on the path to becoming a pirate.

In the end, with the help of Jack Sparrow, she even became the Pirate King.

But now, with Wang Bo's interference, the plot was already completely different. Commodore Norrington had been devoured by a Sea King. Jack Sparrow had sailed away from Port Royal on a magic ship.

Why was she determined to become a pirate now?

Wang Bo shook his head. Forget it, it had nothing to do with him anyway.

Time moved on to evening.

The sun set, night fell, stars hung high in the sky, dotting the darkness. The silent sea breeze blew through all of Port Royal. Except for a few patrolling soldiers, the entire Port Royal had fallen asleep.

Wang Bo looked at the sky, guessing that Athena, Milo, and the others might not return tonight, so he stood up from his chair, ready to close up.

But just then, Wang Bo suddenly heard a sharp whistling sound cutting through the air.

He looked in the direction of the sound, his gaze passing through the bar's door panels, and saw a black cannonball howling toward Port Royal in the pitch-black night sky.

A few seconds later, the cannonball crashed to the ground with a loud boom, producing a huge roar.

The silent night was torn apart in an instant.

No one knew how many people were awakened from sleep by the tremendous noise. The entire Port Royal erupted into chaos at once.

Then, Wang Bo saw a black wooden ship approaching Port Royal on the distant sea.

Cannonballs flew out from the wooden ship one after another, howling as they landed on the port of Port Royal. In an instant, flames soared into the sky, blooming like flowers of death.

Even the dullest person would have realized by now that Port Royal was under attack.

And the ones attacking Port Royal were none other than pirates.

When Wang Bo saw the skull flag on the black wooden ship, a look of extreme surprise appeared at the corner of his mouth. Was this the Black Pearl?
