Chapter 020: Frontal Assault

Wang Bo was no stranger to Stormbreaker.

This axe made its first appearance in Avengers: Infinity War, a divine weapon forged by the dwarf king Eitri of Nidavellir for Thor, capable of killing Thanos.

In the original storyline, after Odin's death, Hela immediately broke free.

Then she crushed Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, with her bare hand.

This caused Thor, in his subsequent battle with Hela, even after awakening his power as the God of Thunder, to still lose one eye to his sister Hela.

After all, a Thor with a divine weapon and one without are completely different.

Since the dwarf king's people had been killed by Thanos, he readily agreed and forged Stormbreaker for Thor.

Stormbreaker, like Mjolnir, was made of the Asgardian metal Uru. The forging process was extremely perilous; Thor placed himself under the heat of a neutron star at hundreds of billions of degrees to activate the forge with his hand, nearly losing his life.

Forged from the core power of a neutron star, Stormbreaker was astonishingly powerful. Compared to Mjolnir, which leaned more toward physical attacks, Stormbreaker was more inclined toward magical and area attacks. Besides flight, recall, and power projection, it had the crucial ability of space teleportation, capable of summoning the Bifrost.

More importantly, this axe could fully unleash Thor's power as the God of Thunder.

Wang Bo felt that although Stormbreaker had appeared early, it would certainly be no less powerful than its counterpart in the original storyline.

Although Stormbreaker's handle was made from Groot's body, judging by its patterns, it seemed to be made of the same material as the handle of Gungnir... a branch of Yggdrasil, the World Tree.
