Chapter 023: The Infinity Gauntlet

The next morning, Hela succeeded to the throne of Asgard, and Odin officially abdicated.

He had lost to Wang Bo, and his own son had lost to his own daughter; he had no choice but to abdicate, because his daughter was eyeing his position covetously.

In truth, he would have preferred to leave Asgard with his father.

But last night, before abdicating, his father Odin had found him and had a conversation with him, hoping he would stay in Asgard and keep a close watch on his sister Hela.

"I know Hela. She is proud and highly ambitious. Once she takes control of Asgard, she will purge dissidents on a large scale. After she fully grasps Asgard, she will inevitably start endless wars."
