Chapter 027: The Meeting

Wang Bo arrived in Sokovia, intending to further divine and pinpoint Julia's exact location.

But just then, Miss Friday suddenly crawled out of Wang Bo's pocket, climbed onto his shoulder, and said, "Boss, you have a phone call?"

"A phone call? Who's calling?" Wang Bo asked.

"I don't know, but the call is from Sokovia."

Wang Bo was taken aback, as if understanding something, and turned to Friday, saying, "Put the call through."

Friday nodded and emitted a deep male voice from her mouth, "It's not easy to find you, Mr. Justin Hammer."

"Who are you?"

"Who I am is not important, Mr. Hammer. What matters is that your secretary is in my hands."

"So, you're the kidnapper who took Julia." Wang Bo knew that these people kidnapped Julia solely for him.

After all, Julia was originally just his secretary, and although he later promoted her, she was only the person in charge of the spaceship order.

She knew nothing about spaceship construction or technology.

But they still kidnapped Julia for one reason: to use her to lure him out.

Who told Wang Bo to stop spaceship production and leave Earth, vanishing as if from the face of the earth?

"Of course, for you."

"I knew it. You're after the spaceship, aren't you?" Wang Bo said bluntly.

"No, we're not after the spaceship; we're after you." The man said sincerely, "Believe me, Mr. Justin Hammer, we value you more than the spaceship."

Wang Bo let out a surprised "Oh," "Value me?"

"Yes, we value you immensely."

"And then?" Wang Bo asked noncommittally.

The man said, "We want you to join us, Mr. Justin Hammer. I hope you'll consider it. We are very sincere."

"If you're sincere, why not talk to me face to face?" Wang Bo said.

"Fine." The other party was also straightforward, "We can set a time."

"How about now?"

The other party was taken aback and said regretfully, "Unfortunately, I'm not in New York right now, so we..."

"No need to regret, because I'm in Sokovia right now!" Wang Bo interrupted without hesitation.

The man: "..."

"What's wrong? Why aren't you talking? Didn't you want to invite me? I'm at the entrance of July Café on Hudson Street in Sokovia."

Wang Bo stated his location and said leisurely, "I'm very much looking forward to meeting you, Baron Strucker."

The master of Hydra's base in Sokovia was this Baron Strucker.

So after thinking for a moment, he said, "Alright, Mr. Justin Hammer. I'll send someone to pick you up right away. Like you, I look forward to meeting you."

With that, Strucker hung up decisively. On one hand, he ordered someone to pick up Wang Bo; on the other, he put the entire base on high alert. At the same time, he prepared an escape route for himself.

If the two couldn't reach an agreement, he would kill Wang Bo immediately and then flee.

Wang Bo humored her while yawning.

Two and a half hours later, the limousine finally drove into an ancient castle.

This was Hydra's base.

After the car stopped, the beauty shed her earlier dejection and said with a smile, "Mr. Hammer, please follow me. Baron Strucker wishes to see you."

"Of course."

Wang Bo made a gesture for her to lead, and after she got out, he followed her into the castle.

A few minutes later, Wang Bo saw a bald man in a room that resembled a laboratory.
