Chapter 032: Send Off

获得主角能力的我只想过平凡生活 · 第032章 送走

Besides the media, leaders from various countries also arrived upon hearing the news. Their sole purpose was to force Wang Bo to continue manufacturing spaceships.

After all, spaceships were extremely important to every country.

Whether on the Moon or Mars, whoever could control the resources could enhance their national power.

Therefore, they had desperately snatched away the Moon and Mars that Wang Bo had purchased.

In the eyes of the state, it was absolutely not allowed for a businessman to possess resources surpassing those of the state; otherwise, the businessman could eventually override the state.

This was something the state would never permit.

When the leaders of various countries gathered together, they stormed into Wang Bo's office aggressively.

"Justin Hammer, you must give us all an explanation for this matter." The American leader stepped forward, slammed the table, and shouted at Wang Bo.

Wang Bo said calmly, "What explanation do you want?"

"Why have you stopped manufacturing spaceships? Do you know that doing so violates the contract?" The leader's eyes were filled with anger.

Wang Bo said calmly, "It seems that the one violating the contract is not me, but you, or rather, all of you."

He looked around at the leaders of various countries, his gaze unfriendly.

No one paid attention to Wang Bo's gaze; instead, they were all smiles.

"Mr. Justin Hammer, you know the importance of the Moon and Mars, and so do we. You obtained Mars and the Moon through improper means, but that is not legally binding, is it?"

Someone said softly, as if reminding Wang Bo.

"Improper means?" Wang Bo chuckled lightly, shook his head, and said, "Forget it, whatever makes you happy."

He was too lazy to explain to these self-hypnotized people.

The crowd demanded, "In that case, when will you hand over the spaceships to us?"

"When did I say I would continue manufacturing spaceships?" Wang Bo retorted.

The crowd grew furious. A man said in English, "Justin Hammer, do you know that doing so will drag yourself into the abyss?"

Another person said sinisterly, "We signed a contract. If you fail to deliver the spaceships within the deadline, it constitutes a breach of contract."

"We can claim compensation from you based on this clause."

"By then, you won't even be able to keep your Hammer Group."

"From that day on, you will no longer be the world's richest man, but a pauper."

One after another, they painted a bleak future for Wang Bo.

Wang Bo said faintly, "It doesn't matter. I don't care. A pauper? Do you think I care?"

The crowd was speechless.

What could they say to such an impenetrable person?

"Justin Hammer, do you really want to become the world's sinner?"

"What a big accusation." Wang Bo sneered a few times, looking disdainfully at these representatives.

Just as the tension between the two sides was escalating, the door to Wang Bo's office was pushed open again, and a bald one-eyed man and a red-haired woman walked in.

"Ladies and gentlemen, could you leave this to us first?" The bald one-eyed man looked around. After a pause, he added, "This is an order from the World Security Council!"

The crowd initially wanted to retort, but upon hearing it was an order from the World Security Council, they restrained themselves one by one.

The World Security Council was an international parliament whose members came from the political high-level of many major countries.

Everyone present knew this well.

If they were sending people to intervene, then they should indeed step back.

At the same time, they had guesses about the identity of the bald one-eyed man.

Perhaps ordinary people didn't know about S.H.I.E.L.D., but this group of people knew of its existence and also knew about S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Spy Master.

After all, Nick Fury's appearance was too distinctive.

Soon, the crowd dispersed.

In the office, only Wang Bo, the bald one-eyed man, and the red-haired woman remained.

"This should be our first meeting, Justin Hammer, or rather, the unknown man X."

"X?" Wang Bo was taken aback.

"That's the nickname we gave you, since you've always been a mystery in our eyes."

"Because I'm a mystery, you gave me the code name X?" Wang Bo chuckled lightly, said with a hint of teasing, "Then can I call you Nick Fury, the bald egg?"

Nick Fury's face twitched a few times, while the red-haired woman beside him stifled a laugh.

"Enough. I'm not here to trade barbs with you." Nick Fury suppressed his anger and said coldly, "Let's have an open and honest talk."

"A talk? About what?" Wang Bo asked with interest.

"Who are you? Why are you impersonating Justin Hammer? What is your purpose? Where is the real Justin Hammer? Where have you been these past few days?"

Nick Fury stared at Wang Bo gloomily, firing questions like a machine gun.

Wang Bo listened and retorted, "Then why should I tell you?"

"You can choose not to tell me, but I can't guarantee your personal safety." Nick Fury's tone was indifferent, as if everything was already in his grasp.

Wang Bo saw through his intention. "You want to take me in?"

Nick Fury leaned forward slightly, a simple gesture that gave off a tremendous sense of pressure. "You're a smart man. You should understand your current situation. You don't have the leverage to bargain with us."

Wang Bo said, "But I am Justin Hammer."

"Who would believe that?" Nick Fury said. "Do you think I would believe your words?"

A spy's job is to solve problems, not to reason with people. Moreover, he simply wouldn't believe that Wang Bo was Justin Hammer; the difference between before and after was too great.

Wang Bo looked at Nick Fury's confident expression and said, "You seem to think you have me figured out."

Nick Fury nodded. "Yes, in my view, I do have you figured out."

"The reason you think that way is because you don't know enough about me." Wang Bo clapped his hands, and Nick Fury in front of him instantly disappeared.

The red-haired woman's eyes contracted a few times, and she instinctively reached behind her, where there was a gun.

But before she could draw it, she saw Wang Bo snap his fingers.

In an instant, the red-haired woman was frozen in place.

"Calm down, Natalia, or rather, Natasha." Wang Bo snapped his fingers again, and Natasha, who had been standing, sat down in front of Wang Bo, in the chair where Nick Fury had just been sitting.

Natasha looked at Wang Bo in shock and couldn't help asking, "What did you do?"
