Chapter 015: Return

Wang Bo sighed inwardly. It seemed he had underestimated the Falcone family. He figured he would have to move again.

But verbally, Wang Bo refused to show weakness, saying, "This is not my fault, Leonardo. I never intended to betray the Falcone family. You were the one who tried to shoot me first. I did what I did to defend myself."

Leonardo said, "You're in league with that Spider Woman."

"I'm not, I didn't, don't talk nonsense." Wang Bo instinctively issued a triple denial.

"Do you think we're all blind?" Leonardo shouted excitedly.

Wang Bo said disdainfully, "Bullshit. If I were on her side, we would have already joined forces and destroyed the entire Falcone family."

Leonardo: ...

"I have feelings for the Falcone family. I've been fighting for a full seven years in this household. Do you know how many seven-year periods there are in a lifetime, Leonardo?"

Wang Bo yelled at the top of his lungs. Wasn't it just showing off acting skills? Who couldn't do that?

"But you, you actually wanted to kill me, Leonardo. You actually shot at me. What were you thinking!"

This was the doubt in Wang Bo's heart.

How did Leonardo see through his affair with Spider-Gwen?

Wang Bo's acting was not good enough to move the other party. Leonardo sneered, "No matter how eloquently you speak, it cannot change the fact that you have betrayed the family. Adam, you deserve to die."

"Unfortunately, you can't kill me," Wang Bo said calmly.

These days, as his strength increased, Wang Bo was no longer as afraid of bullets as before.

"Yes, our strength in the Metropolis is insufficient, and we cannot kill you. But Adam, we can kill your partner, kill the Spider-Woman."

Leonardo's voice was somewhat manic. "We've already caught the Spider-Woman, Adam. If you can't return to the Falcone family by tomorrow, we'll kill her in the most brutal way."

However, after just a few minutes, Wang Bo suddenly heard someone ring the doorbell.

Wang Bo instinctively looked up and pricked up his ears. He heard someone place something at his door, then turn and run, quickly covering dozens of meters.

Wang Bo lowered his head and saw a box placed at the entrance of his apartment.

After listening for a while and confirming that the box was not a bomb, Wang Bo opened it with relief.

To Wang Bo's considerable surprise, the box contained a disc.

Wang Bo returned to his apartment, inserted the disc into the DVD player, and immediately a familiar face appeared on the television... Leonardo.

What surprised Wang Bo, however, was that Leonardo was standing in front of the camera completely unscathed.

This surprised Wang Bo. If he remembered correctly, the force he had used in that collision was not light, breaking several of Leonardo's bones.

Logically speaking, this guy should be spending his days in bed, yet now he can actually stand up.

After all, this guy had wanted to kill him, so although Wang Bo didn't take his life when he struck, he definitely could have left him paralyzed from the waist down, a cripple for life.

But now it seems... this feeling seems a bit off.

Wang Bo immediately became vigilant; anything unusual must be sinister.

On the television, Leonardo had a ferocious smile on his face. "I know you won't believe what I'm saying, so I'll show you the evidence right now, Adam."

He turned the camera lens to one side.

Wang Bo's eyes darted about frantically. The place Leonardo was filming appeared to be a warehouse; on the other side, a blonde woman in a spider suit was hanging.

The camera carefully filmed the blonde woman's face; it was Spider-Gwen, no mistake.

Wang Bo was extremely surprised. No way, Spider-Gwen had actually been captured.

With her abilities, it shouldn't be!

Although the Falcone family had men and guns, they had neither high technology nor powerful supervillains. Did they really have the strength to catch Spider-Gwen?

But the footage captured by the camera could not be faked.

Spider-Gwen was indeed captured; if they hadn't caught Spider-Gwen, they couldn't have filmed her face.

Ring, ring, ring……

Just then, the phone rang again.

Wang Bo answered the phone, and Leonardo's voice immediately came through, "Have you seen the surprise I prepared for you, Adam?"

Wang Bo remained silent.

Leonardo said cheerfully, "I'm only giving you one day. Tomorrow, at noon, if you don't show up at the Falcone family, I will kill this woman in the cruelest way possible. I swear, I will do it!"

After saying this, without waiting for Wang Bo to retort, he immediately hung up the phone.

Wang Bo couldn't help but darken his face.

Now we're in trouble.

He hadn't expected that Spider-Gwen would actually fall into the hands of the Falcone family.

Given Leonardo's hatred for Spider-Gwen, one does not know what torments Gwen might suffer.
