Chapter 004: The Alien

获得主角能力的我只想过平凡生活 · 第004章 外星人

Xiao Qing wanted to help Bumblebee, and Wang Bo naturally would not stand idly by.

After all, with his current strength, whether it was Megatron or Optimus Prime, whether it was Decepticons or Autobots, none of them were a match for him. Even if they joined forces, it wouldn't work.

So Wang Bo felt no pressure at all in intervening in the Transformers storyline.

Wang Bo casually drew a circle in the mirror space, opening a huge portal. On the other side of the portal was the base inside the Hoover Dam... the location of the AllSpark!

Bumblebee's optical sensors swept across several times. After spotting the AllSpark, he immediately walked through the portal, arrived at the Hoover Dam base, and reached out his hands, attempting to touch the AllSpark.

At the same time, the base staff, seeing the portal appear, fell into a slight commotion.

When they saw Bumblebee appear and attempt to touch the AllSpark, they quickly reacted. A group of security guards rushed forward with machine guns.

Wang Bo casually snapped his fingers and cast a spell.

Stupefy.

In an instant, every single staff member present—whether scientists or armed personnel—yawned, lay down on the ground, and fell into a deep sleep.

After confirming that the staff around were not dead but merely asleep, Bumblebee nodded at Wang Bo, then touched the AllSpark with both hands.

The AllSpark, dozens of meters tall, released an invisible energy field and began to shrink. In just a few breaths, it transformed from a massive cube into a small cube that could be held in both hands.

Bumblebee's optical sensors flickered several times. He couldn't believe that the AllSpark, which he had been searching for who knows how long, had fallen into his hands so easily.

"Thank you," he said, turning to Wang Bo.

"You're welcome." Wang Bo looked around and noticed that staff in the adjacent room had already detected the anomaly and were rushing toward them.

"Let's go!" He took the lead and stepped through the portal again, returning to his villa.

Bumblebee nodded and followed.

By the time the base staff rushed in, all they saw was a closed portal.

"Find them! Immediately find out who these people are!!!" The base commander, seeing the missing AllSpark, flew into a rage.

...

Back at the villa, Bumblebee thanked Wang Bo once again. Without Wang Bo's help, he could not have obtained the AllSpark so easily.

"I told you, you're welcome." Wang Bo glanced at Xiao Qing and said, "After all, you are Xiao Qing's companion."

Xiao Qing asked with a smile, "Now that you've got the AllSpark, what do you plan to do next?"

Bumblebee thought for a moment and said, "I plan to immediately contact Optimus Prime and hand the AllSpark over to him."

Wang Bo said calmly, "That's up to you. I'm going to sunbathe."

After having Bumblebee transform back into a sports car, he dispelled the mirror space, left the villa, and went for a jog outside, absorbing the morning sunlight to strengthen himself.

At the same time, Wang Bo kept calling upon his own cosmos, hoping to break through to the Sixth Sense as soon as possible.

Having traversed so many worlds, Wang Bo had always believed his strength was sufficient.

Except for the first world, which was rather rough.

In other worlds, Wang Bo always appeared composed, so he had always thought himself quite powerful.

But in the previous world, the Middle Continent, Wang Bo was utterly terrified.

Whether it was those two fingers or the ten-thousand-meter giant crushed by them, both far exceeded Wang Bo's imagination, making him understand one thing.

He was not as strong as he had imagined; perhaps against ordinary opponents, his strength was sufficient.

But when facing true masters, he still had a long way to go.

In fact, Wang Bo had always harbored such thoughts. But because he had never encountered a true master, he had no concrete sense of how powerful they really were.

At the same time, he didn't think he could provoke such beings, feeling that they were too far away—so distant that he and they belonged to different worlds.

But this time, Wang Bo finally realized that he was not far from the true masters.

So Wang Bo decided to work hard for a while to become stronger. That way, when he faced a true master, he would be more composed.

Meanwhile, at the Hoover Dam base, the theft of the AllSpark had thrown the base into chaos.

Eventually, the base director made the call to report the matter up the chain.

After receiving the report, the President decided to hand the matter over to the Secretary of Defense, John Keller.

So the base dispatched a man named Simmons to find the busy John Keller.

"Secretary Keller, we're from Sector Seven. We have something very important to discuss with you."

At that moment, Keller was investigating the incident in Qatar. Just yesterday, a U.S. military base in Qatar had been attacked by unknown assailants and completely destroyed.

The American soldiers stationed there had suffered heavy casualties, essentially wiped out.

Whether there were any survivors was still unknown.

Facing Simmons, who had come to see him, Secretary Keller said bluntly, "Sector Seven, I've heard of it, but I have something very important right now. You can wait over there. If I have time, I might talk to you."

Simmons said calmly, "Secretary Keller, I think our matter is more serious than you imagine."

Secretary Keller thought the man was exaggerating. How serious could something from a secretive department be? So he shot back, "Serious? Do you think what you call serious is more serious than the news that a military base in a Middle Eastern country was attacked and all troops were wiped out?"

Simmons said bluntly, "Yes, I believe the situation we're facing is even worse than that."

Secretary Keller was taken aback. "Do you know what you're saying?"

"Yes, I know exactly what I'm saying."

"Then tell me, what serious thing have you encountered that's more serious than an impending war?" Secretary Keller looked seriously at the grim-faced agent.

Simmons said, "Our department was attacked by aliens. They stole something very important."

Secretary Keller stared at the man in bewilderment, half-doubting. "Are you sure you didn't say it wrong? Aliens?"

"Yes."

Secretary Keller began to doubt life again. Who can tell me what is wrong with this world?!
