Chapter 004: The Magnifying Lamp

The Collector narrowed his eyes, glanced at Wang Bo a few times, and said softly, "This is truly interesting."
Although he knew Wang Bo was likely not from this universe, he hadn't expected Wang Bo to possess Kryptonian blood.
And from what he understood, Kryptonians seemed to be a very remarkable race.
He had heard that Kryptonians had a very high ceiling.
But how high exactly, he didn't know.
Now, however, he finally had some understanding. Being able to touch the Power Stone barehanded without being destroyed by its power—the Kryptonian ceiling was undoubtedly high, perhaps on the level of the Celestials.
"But touching my belongings without my permission—isn't that rather impolite, my friend?"
Wang Bo knew it was indeed impolite. "I will compensate you."
"So, you've got something good again?"
"More than you can imagine." Wang Bo said while absorbing the Power Stone's energy.
"If that's the case, I can forgive you." The Collector, greedy for treasures from other universes, said covetously, "If you offer a high enough price, I might even sell you this stone."
"That won't be necessary."
Wang Bo took a deep breath and released his hand gripping the Infinity Stone. He had absorbed too much of its power at once, and his body was nearing its limit.
If he didn't let go, Wang Bo feared his body might explode.
From this, he knew his current strength was insufficient to digest an Infinity Stone.
Seeing Wang Bo let go, the Collector raised an eyebrow. "Looks like you gained quite a bit."
Wang Bo nodded. "A great deal."
His entire body was now filled with the Power Stone's energy. If he could fully digest and absorb it, Wang Bo estimated his strength would increase at least tenfold.
As he nodded, Wang Bo took out a large number of treasures from his fourth-dimensional pocket and piled them before the Collector. "These are my apology. Will you accept them?"
Just as the Collector was about to speak, the hot-tempered raccoon suddenly jumped onto the table, glaring at Wang Bo. "Hey hey hey, I was here first, and the deal was mine. The Infinity Stone is still my property until I trade it with this white-haired guy, understand?"
Wang Bo nodded.
The Collector asked, "So, what are you trying to say?"
Rocket Raccoon pointed at the pile of Wang Bo's apology gifts on the table and said assertively, "So, these should go to me, since I'm the owner of the Infinity Stone."
Hearing Rocket Raccoon's words, Star-Lord's eyes lit up, and he stepped forward. "What did you just say? You're the owner of the Infinity Stone? No, no, no, I should be the owner. These things should be compensation to me."
Gamora couldn't help but roll her eyes.
Groot roared, "I am Groot."
Rocket Raccoon said, "I know, I know, Groot. Please shut up now."
Groot looked at Rocket Raccoon with a hurt expression. "I am Groot."
Rocket Raccoon ignored him and instead looked at Star-Lord. "Alright, I admit the Infinity Stone belongs to all of us. So we can split these things evenly. What do you think?"
Gamora crossed her arms, watching their performance with interest.
The Collector shot Wang Bo a helpless look.
Star-Lord agreed with Rocket Raccoon's proposal. He was willing to split the apology gifts with Rocket Raccoon, then sell the Infinity Stone to the Collector, split the money, and go their separate ways.
Wang Bo had no objection.
"So, what are these things?" Star-Lord picked up a trident and swung it a few times. "An outdated cold weapon?"
"That's the Trident of the Sea King. It can control the power of the ocean. On planets with seas, you can do whatever you want." Wang Bo said.
"And what's this?" Rocket Raccoon held up a piece of cloth.
"A Gourmet Tablecloth. Spread it on a table, and you can ask it for any food you want. With this, you probably won't run out of rations."
"Great! Give me a drink, will you?" Rocket Raccoon said to the tablecloth.
A glass of lemonade immediately appeared on the tablecloth.
Rocket Raccoon took a sip. "Oh, I admit, this stuff is really good."
"And what's this?" Star-Lord held up a rice ball. "Looks like some kind of food."
"This is called a Kibidango. You can use it to tame wild beasts. Any beast that eats this food will obey the owner of the rice ball."
"Are you kidding me? How is that possible?" Star-Lord didn't believe it.
"This was meant for trading with the Collector. Do you think I would exaggerate?" Wang Bo countered.
Star-Lord looked at Rocket Raccoon eagerly. "Would it work on him?"
"Maybe you could try."
Rocket Raccoon was startled and aimed his gun at Star-Lord. "I swear, if you point that thing at me, I'll blow your head off."
Star-Lord's courage was immediately quelled by the gun barrel, and he carefully put down the Kibidango.
Gamora, also intrigued by the pile of items Wang Bo had produced, walked over and picked up a flashlight. "And what's this?"
"A Magnifying Lamp. It can enlarge whatever it shines on." Wang Bo said softly.
"A Magnifying Lamp? So there's a Shrinking Lamp too."
Wang Bo nodded. "There is, but it's not with me."
Gamora said, "This one's mine."
Star-Lord and the others had no objection. They quickly divided Wang Bo's apology gifts among themselves, then said to the Collector, "Now we can trade."
The Collector said, "Alright, you said you wanted cash."
"That's right." Rocket Raccoon nodded.
"I'll need some time to gather the cash; it's a large sum."
"We have plenty of time." Star-Lord said, not in a hurry at all.
Wang Bo stood aside, rapidly digesting the Power Stone's energy. He felt his cells constantly growing and his organs continuously strengthening.
Solar energy flowed through his body, growing ever brighter.
His magical power rose without limit.
His Cosmo rapidly increased, steadily advancing toward the peak of the Seventh Sense.
Wang Bo's strength surged every moment. He even felt that once he digested this power, he could easily destroy Knowhere.
But just then, Wang Bo suddenly noticed that the Destroyer had disappeared.
